We are excited to introduce a new feature that allows you to securely upload and manage private files alongside your public ones. This enhancement is designed to provide greater control and flexibility when handling sensitive information.
Secure Uploads: You can now upload files as private, ensuring that sensitive data is securely stored. This feature is ideal for managing files that require restricted access.
Easy Identification: Private files are marked with a lock icon thumbnail, making it simple to distinguish between public and private files at a glance.
Access Options: Private files come with options to download or copy a private link. Importantly, these private links are valid for only 10 minutes, adding an extra layer of security.
Depending on the requirements of your application or product, you can choose from the following modes:
All: View both public and private files in one place, allowing comprehensive file management.
Public: Access and manage only public files, ensuring separation when needed.
Private: Browse through private files with dedicated options to download or copy a private link, perfect for secure file handling.
We are working on enabling the customization of private link expiration times directly from the user interface. This will provide even more flexibility and control over who can access your sensitive files and for how long.
