Service Calendar POS Integration – Mobile Payments

We're thrilled to announce our latest update to Mobile payments – the integration of our POS with service calendars. This new feature allows business owners to collect the balance amount for service appointments with deposit payments in a seamless manner using Tap to Pay and the POS system. This update is available on all relevant apps, but an update request needs to be made.

🚀 What's New

• View Amount Inside Calendar Events – Head over to the Appointments section on the mobile app and tap on the event card of a service appointment. You will be able to see the amount due for that particular service.
• View Invoice – Now, you can view the associated invoice of the service inside the event card. You can also edit the invoice to add the cost of additional items or if the service time exceeded the allocated time.
• Record Payment – Record payment for that service directly from the appointment event using Tap to Pay, Card, Cash, or Manual Entry.

👷‍♂️ How It Works

1. Go to the calendars section on the web and ensure the "Accept Payments" toggle under the Forms and Payments section of your service calendar is turned on. Set the Payment mode to "Live".
2. Define your payment settings under the calendar and hit save.
3. When a customer books an appointment, you'll see the event on your mobile app under the Calendars section.
4. Open the mobile app with the same account selected.
5. Tap on the event.
6. You will see the amount due for this service along with two buttons: View Invoice and Record Payment.
7. Tapping on View Invoice will open up the invoice with an option to make edits.
8. Tapping on Record Payment will open up the payment instruments screen.
9. Select Tap to Pay or your preferred method to record payment, and you're good to go!

This update ties together two of the most significant modules on the mobile app—calendars and POS—to ensure that you have a straightforward and seamless payment collection flow.
