Simplified Tax Attachment for Efficient Billing

We are thrilled to announce a product improvement aimed to enhance your business accounting processes. To ensure you're getting the most out of our platform, we've introduced a new feature that allows users to attach taxes directly to a product.

With this feature, taxes linked to a product are automatically reflected across any channel where the product is featured, including order forms, payment links, Ecom stores, or invoices. Imagine the time saved and errors avoided by having tax automatically integrated across your sales channels!

With the update, when you add a product in invoices, the system will automatically add the attached taxes for a given product. This additional feature is aimed at making your billing process more efficient and straightforward.

Multiple taxes can be attached to any product, giving you flexibility based on the diverse tax structures that apply to various products. This enhancement also comes into play for recurring products, including subsequent payments happening after the first charge. The integrated system will automatically calculate the taxes on the subtotal amount after factoring in any discounts, streamlining your billing process regardless of product complexity.

To remove a tax, you simply delete it from the taxes section, and it will be removed from all products where it is attached. Updated tax rates for a given tax will be applied across all existing products where it is attached, keeping your accounts accurate and up to date.

Setting up manual taxes is a breeze, just navigate to Payments -> Settings -> Taxes. Here's a quick peek at what these new changes look like:
