Enhance Your Customer Management
We are excited to introduce a new feature that simplifies managing customer payments when merging contacts. This enhancement is designed to ensure a seamless transition and integration of payment details, providing you with a more streamlined and efficient process for handling financial transactions and customer data.
Key Benefits
- Unified Contact Details: After merging contacts, businesses can now view all transactions and subscriptions tied to the merged contact directly from the ‘Master’ Contact’s Contact Details page. This ensures that financial records remain connected and easily accessible.

- Smooth Navigation: While historical transactions, subscriptions, orders, and receipts will display the old contact’s name during searches, selecting any transaction will direct users to the updated Master contact’s page. This maintains a coherent and consistent flow of information.

- No Orphan Records: This update ensures that no transaction or subscription becomes an orphan record due to contact merging, preserving the integrity of your business’s financial data.
- Subscription Management: Invoices related to any subscription payment failures will now be sent to the Master contact’s email and/or phone, ensuring consistent communication and reducing the likelihood of missed payments.

- Comprehensive Record Keeping: All backend records will maintain details of both the original transaction’s contact and the new Master contact, ensuring accuracy and traceability.

Looking Ahead
The upcoming Lifetime Value (LTV) field feature will further enhance this process by mapping the Master’s LTV to all contacts that were merged. This will help in comprehensively assessing and valuing customer relationships, offering further insights into your business’s financial metrics.
