Square Integration for POS and Mobile Payments Now in Public Beta

We are excited to introduce support for Square as a payment provider for both Point of Sale (POS) and mobile payments! With this update, you can utilize Cards on File, Manual Card Entry, and connect Square Readers to accept in-person payments using the POS on our mobile app. This feature is currently part of the public beta program, with a full public launch scheduled for next week.

Key Features of the New Update

• Square Cards on File: Now you can use an existing card or add a new one on file to process in-person payments through Square.
• Square Manual Card Entry: Enter card details manually to charge your users immediately via Square when Square Payments is selected.
• Square Reader Support (iOS Exclusive): Integrate your Square readers with our mobile app to process payments by tapping or inserting your customer’s card.
• Square Tap to Pay (Coming Soon): Stay tuned for this exciting new feature!

Getting Started with Square Integration

Prerequisites

• Connect Your Square Account: Go to Payments → Integrations on the web platform to connect. Re-initiate the connection for seamless mobile payments.
• Enroll in Public Beta: Ensure you’re enrolled in our public beta program for early access.

How to Use This Feature

1. Connect Your Square Account:
   • Navigate to Payments → Integrations on the web platform.
   • Select an active Square location under Square Live Mode.
2. Login to the Mobile App:
   • Open the account used for Square connection.
3. Optional: Link Square Reader
   • Navigate to mobile app settings and tap on Square Payment Devices.
   • Link a Square reader to the app.
4. Start a New Transaction:
   • Enter a custom amount or add items from the product catalog in POS.
5. Proceed to Payment:
   • Link a contact and review transaction details.
   • Select the Square Payments tile.
   • Use a connected reader or opt for Manual Card Entry to enter details and tap Charge.
6. Congratulations:
   • You’ve made your first payment via Square!
