Steps to Leverage the Enhanced Import Experience

  1. Activate the Labs Feature:
    • Navigate to settings and enable the Labs feature for your account by selecting “Enhanced Contact Import.”
  2. Initiate the Import Process:
    • Go to the Contacts section and click on ‘Import’ in the top bar.

  3. Choose Import Type:
  • Select “Contacts” and proceed by clicking ‘Next’ to import contacts alone, or choose both Contacts and Opportunities to import both sets of data.

  1. Define Record Actions:
    • Decide whether to Create, Update, or Create and Update records during the import.

  2. Field Mapping:
    • Match fields in your file with the corresponding fields in our system for accuracy.

  • Review your settings, initiate the import, and let the enhanced process take care of the rest.
