Enhanced Domain Setup Nudges

We're excited to introduce a new feature that streamlines the domain setup process for all users managing websites, funnels, stores, webinars, or blogs. Now, domains that are connected without a default page or a 404/error page will display an "Action Required" nudge, encouraging you to finalize the configuration with ease.

How It Works

When a domain is linked to any of your core assets but is missing either a default page or a 404/error page, the system will automatically flag it with an "Action Required" message on your Connected Products screen. By clicking this prompt, you'll be guided through a simple selection process in a modal window:

• Select the Default Page: Choose from a dropdown list of eligible pages for your domain.
• Set a Default 404/Error Page: Another dropdown will allow you to select your 404/error page.

Why It Matters

This enhancement is designed to ensure a seamless and professional experience for visitors on your domains. Without correctly configured pages, you risk:

• Visitors encountering blank or error pages at your root domain (e.g., example.com).
• Mistyped or broken URLs leading to generic, non-branded error messages.

By setting up default and error pages, you ensure that:

• Visitors are redirected to branded, meaningful fallback pages.
• User trust is enhanced, and bounce rates are minimized.

Important Notes

• You still have the option to configure your default and 404 pages by selecting "Edit" in the three-dot menu next to each domain.
• The "Action Required" nudge will only appear in the account where the domain was initially connected.
