We are excited to announce a new performance-focused update that enhances the loading of images across all our platforms. The lazy loading feature, once exclusive to optimized images, is now available for all image-based elements, bringing significant performance improvements to your digital assets.
In the past, lazy loading (identified by the loading="lazy"
attribute) was limited to images with Image Optimization enabled. This meant that if you opted out of image optimization, images would load immediately upon page access, potentially slowing down the page performance. Our latest update changes that:
loading="lazy"
attribute is now applied automatically to all image tags, irrespective of optimization status. This enhancement underscores our commitment to improving page performance and user experience across all platforms. By enabling lazy loading for all image types, regardless of image optimization status, we are ensuring that pages load swiftly—benefitting image-heavy content such as blogs, FAQs, and e-commerce listings. This update is already live on all supported platforms, and no action is required on your part.
