Centralized Webinar Template Library for Seamless Event Creation
We are excited to announce the release of our new Webinar Template Library! This update is designed to simplify event creation, enforce consistent design elements, and reduce the repetitive setup efforts for webinar creators.
Template Library Integration
Our new centralized Template Library is now available at Step 4 of the webinar creation process. This feature provides:
- A shared library to enhance collaboration and design consistency.
- Migration of all existing user templates with all settings preserved, ensuring a seamless transition.
- Access to default templates, including at least four pre-designed options and a blank template, for users not using the full library.
Enhanced Template Experience
To improve the user experience, we've made the following enhancements:
- A larger modal for previewing, selecting, and editing templates directly within the workflow.
- Automatic embedding of selected videos from Step 3 into the chosen template to ensure continuity.
- Retention of video selections even when switching between templates.
Robust Edge Case Handling
We've also incorporated features to handle edge cases efficiently:
- Error displays and detailed logs for administrators to address template migration challenges.
- Compatibility with roles having limited permissions, such as location-only users.
Comprehensive Test Coverage and Validation
To maintain the quality of our new features, extensive testing has been completed:
- Verified that webinars created using both default and user-created templates (Live and On-Demand) function correctly.
- Confirmed that access control for location-only users is enforced consistently.
- Validated that video placeholders are replaced and persisted automatically.
- Ensured the fallback user interface activates appropriately in potential edge cases.
- Successfully tested sidebar updates and integration of placeholder settings.
With the introduction of these new features, we aim to streamline and elevate your webinar creation process, ensuring a more efficient and cohesive experience.
