Best CRM for Landscaping Businesses (2026)

A CRM can remind a homeowner about an open patio estimate. It may not know which crew has the compact loader, whether Tuesday’s mowing route still fits after a rain delay, or whether the job made money. Landscaping businesses need to separate those responsibilities before comparing software.

Sales and marketing CRM covers lead capture, follow-up, customer conversations, reviews, and reactivation. Field-service software covers work orders, routes, dispatch, job notes, time, and sometimes estimates, invoices, materials, and job costing. Payroll, accounting, inventory, and design may still need separate systems.

We reviewed five options using official pricing, product, help, and integration pages on August 24, 2026. Plans change. Confirm users, onboarding and signup fees, usage charges, add-ons, integrations, contract length, and renewal pricing in writing.

Make every vendor run the same Tuesday

Give each finalist one ordinary, slightly messy day and watch every step:

  1. Capture a spring-cleanup request after hours. Confirm the service, property, message consent, lead source, assignment, and response time without retyping.
  2. Build and follow up on an estimate. Include an option, deposit, unanswered quote, and post-approval change. Check notifications and automation.
  3. Move a 20-stop maintenance route after rain. Reassign one property, preserve recurring visits, notify affected customers, and show the new route to the crew.
  4. Complete the office-to-field handoff. Show scope, photos, access notes, and the right contact. Capture time, materials, completion photos, and an issue for the office.
  5. Close the customer loop. Invoice, record payment, request an appropriate review, and add the customer to a fall campaign.
  6. Explain the numbers. Show lead source, estimate status, labor and material cost, profitability, receivables, and the accounting handoff.
  7. Price the exact setup. Count users, onboarding, support, messaging, payments, automations, integrations, and commitment.

Before uploading customer data, confirm MFA, roles, backups, exports, retention terms, and which integrations can access records.

One platform may follow up with every estimate yet have no route optimizer. Another may run crews well but offer only basic lead nurture. Either can work when the gap has a clear owner.

1. SMBcrm: best for lead response and seasonal marketing

SMBcrm for landscaping businesses brings forms, calendars, pipelines, a shared inbox, email and SMS, phone, mobile access, workflows, reporting, invoices, and review requests into one front-office record. It fits a company that needs consistent quote follow-up or seasonal customer reactivation.

Startup is $97 per month for two users and unlimited contacts. Professional is $297 with unlimited users. Both include monthly usage credits; phone, SMS, email delivery, premium actions, and some AI activity can cost more. All plans include group training and support, while Professional includes four guided sessions. Migration scope depends on the source system.

SMBcrm covers the customer journey around the work: capture, response, appointment, quote follow-up, review request, and later reactivation. Its automation tools support those sequences, while reputation tools centralize review activity.

It does not replace route planning, crew dispatch, production scheduling, equipment management, landscape estimating, deep job costing, materials, payroll, accounting, or design software. A landscaper may pair it with an operational platform. Test the exact fields, status changes, duplicates, failures, and system of record rather than assuming an API or Zapier connection solves the handoff.

2. Jobber: best balanced field-service choice for a small team

Jobber’s landscaping software covers requests, quotes, recurring and one-off jobs, scheduling, dispatch, routes, customer notifications, a crew app, invoices, payments, and a customer hub. Its feature pages also describe weather rescheduling, quote follow-up, job forms, photos, checklists, reviews, and job costing.

Jobber prices plans by features and team size. Before temporary promotions, Core’s regular annual-billing rate starts at $29 per month for one user. Connect adds reminders, quote and invoice follow-up, time and expenses, and QuickBooks Online. Grow adds advanced quotes, job costing, two-way SMS, and custom workflows. Pipeline, reviews, marketing, and the AI receptionist depend on plan or add-on; two-way SMS also depends on country. All plans list phone, email, and chat support plus product coaching.

Jobber is the most balanced choice here for a small company that wants requests, estimates, scheduling, field updates, and payment in one product. It is less specialized than LMN for landscape budgeting and cost-based estimating. Payroll, full accounting, purchasing, inventory, and design still need evaluation. Test the plan with every required feature, not the cheapest advertised plan.

3. LMN by Granum: best for estimating and profitability control

LMN by Granum was built around landscape operations. Starter includes budgeting, estimating, scheduling, a crew app, invoicing, and payments. Professional adds real-time job costing, equipment and material costing, and Zapier. The product also supports route optimization, GPS verification, offline crew access, lead and client records, proposals, a customer portal, and QuickBooks workflows.

Starter is currently $297 per month on monthly billing after a one-time onboarding fee. It includes one office or crew-lead license and five crew licenses. Professional is $648 per month with three office or crew-lead licenses and 15 crew licenses; extra licenses cost more. Customer SMS requires an additional setup fee and monthly subscription. Current plans list support, training, and onboarding resources.

LMN is the strongest candidate here when bad estimates, inconsistent production rates, and limited job-cost visibility are the main problems. Its CRM pages show lead tracking, proposals, communications, notes, site photos, online approvals, and payments, but the current materials put more emphasis on estimating and operations than on long-term marketing or review campaigns. A company that chooses LMN should demonstrate quote follow-up, lead-source reporting, review requests, and seasonal reactivation rather than assuming they match a marketing-focused CRM.

4. Service Autopilot: best for recurring routes and advanced automation

Service Autopilot combines customer records, estimates, scheduling, dispatch, recurring jobs, invoicing, payments, and mobile access. Its higher plans add route optimization, multi-day jobs, job costing, asset and employee tracking, reports, workflow automation, two-way texting, a client portal, QuickBooks, and Smart Maps.

The current annual-subscription table lists Startup at $49 per month plus a signup fee. Pro is $199 per month and is where route optimization and job costing appear. Pro Plus is $499 per month and adds automations. Elite uses custom pricing and adds features including two-way texting, Smart Maps, a client portal, and QuickBooks. All plans list support and mobile access, but included office and mobile users vary by tier. Some services have separate fees.

This is the better finalist when recurring mowing or property-maintenance routes drive the business and the company is prepared to configure the system. Service Autopilot’s automation program can handle estimate follow-up, reminders, website leads, and surveys, but those deeper capabilities require the appropriate plan or service. Compare the total subscription and setup cost with the time the team will invest in implementation.

5. Yardbook: best low-cost starting point

Yardbook’s pricing page gives a small landscaping company an unusually broad free starting tier: customers, jobs and scheduling, estimates, invoices, routing, expenses, reports, employee access, payment processing, and snow operations. Business costs $34.99 per month and adds bulk email, Twilio-based bulk texting, GPS, invoice reminders, and custom lead capture. Enterprise is $49.99 per month and adds QuickBooks sync and a branded customer portal.

Its feature list also covers lead-source tracking, recurring jobs, off-season scheduling, crew assignments, route optimization, estimate reminders and signatures, time tracking, chemical applications, inventory, surveys, reviews, and job-profitability reporting. The current pricing page lists web, desktop, and Android access; it does not list an iOS app.

Yardbook deserves a serious demo from an owner-operator who needs to replace spreadsheets without taking on a large monthly bill. The tradeoff is not a missing checklist item on paper. The practical questions are whether its screens, mobile options, permissions, support, integrations, exports, and reporting hold up for the way the company works. Run the same Tuesday test before moving customer and job history.

Which CRM should a landscaping business choose?

Choose SMBcrm when slow lead response, scattered conversations, inconsistent quote follow-up, weak review collection, and dormant customer lists are costing the office attention. Pair it with a field-service system when routes and crews need their own operational source of truth.

Choose Jobber when a small team wants one approachable path from request to quote, schedule, field update, invoice, and payment. Choose LMN when estimating, production rates, and job profitability need tighter control. Choose Service Autopilot when recurring routes and configurable operations justify a higher plan and implementation effort. Choose Yardbook when cost is the first constraint and the team can validate the product against its real workflow.

If two systems are the honest answer, assign ownership before integration. Decide where a new lead begins, which platform controls customer contact details and consent, where the approved scope lives, which system owns schedule and job status, and which one sends invoices and review requests. Then test a failed sync and a duplicate record. A clean boundary is more useful than a long feature list.
