Conversation Notifications for Followers

Users can now get notifications for new messages in conversations they follow. This helps teams stay aware of updates without manually checking each conversation.

What Changed

A notification option is now available for conversations where a user is a follower.

  • In-app notifications are enabled by default for followers
  • Email notifications can be enabled based on user preference
  • SMS notifications can be enabled based on user preference

Why It Matters

Previously, only conversation owners could receive notifications for new messages. Followers had to check conversations manually, which made it easier to miss updates.

With this change, followers can stay informed in real time and respond faster inside Communication.
