Rich Link and Event Previews in Communities
SMBcrm Communities now gives members more context when links and events appear in posts or comments. Rich previews are generated automatically for supported content, helping conversations stay useful without sending members away from the feed.
For teams using Memberships & Education, this makes shared videos and event discussions easier for members to act on.
Rich link and video previews
When a member pastes a supported link, such as a YouTube or Loom URL, SMBcrm automatically creates a rich preview in the post or comment.
Supported video previews can be played directly from the feed without opening a new tab. No additional setup is needed. Members can paste the link and the preview appears when supported.
Interactive event previews
When a member mentions an event in a post, SMBcrm can generate an event preview card with key details, including:
- Event name
- Date and time
- Price, when applicable
- Status
Members can register or RSVP directly from the event preview card without navigating to the Events page.
Why it matters
Previously, shared links appeared as plain text, and events required members to leave the feed to review details or register. Rich previews reduce that friction by keeping video viewing, event details, and event registration closer to the conversation.
