Services Calendar Improvements for Booking, Pricing, and AI
SMBcrm has updated the Services Calendar experience to make booking clearer and more reliable. These changes improve pricing visibility, service selection, location handling, and AI response accuracy.
Pricing and booking summary updates
Several fixes improve how pricing appears during booking:
- Staff-specific pricing appears only when there is an added charge.
- Booking summaries are formatted more clearly for easier review.
- When a service variation is selected, the base service price is no longer shown again unnecessarily.
- Extra staff charges are highlighted more clearly.
- Staff override pricing now calculates totals more accurately.
AI response improvements
SMBcrm also resolved service knowledge base issues that could cause inaccurate AI responses. This improves reliability for teams using AI features alongside booking workflows.
Booking flow and selection fixes
The booking experience now includes several behavior fixes:
- Default variation selection works more consistently.
- Multi-service selection behaves more smoothly.
- The staff selection toggle now works correctly.
- Booking links now support add-ons.
These updates support a smoother customer experience across service scheduling and communication tools.
Account location handling
Location prompts now better match account setup:
- If multi-location is disabled, customers are no longer asked to choose a location, and it does not appear in the booking summary.
- If only one location is set up, customers are not asked to choose it during booking, but it still appears in the summary for clarity.
