Conversation AI Auto Follow-Up Is Now Flow-Based
Released February 3, 2026
Auto Follow-Up is now available as a flow-based builder experience, so you can visually configure how Conversation AI re-engages contacts who go inactive or request delayed follow-ups.
What’s New
You can now restart a stalled conversation from within an existing workflow when a contact stops replying, without needing to send them into a separate re-engagement workflow.
This transforms workflows from fire-and-forget automations into state-aware conversations that can pause and continue based on the contact’s behavior.
Why This Matters
- Eliminate separate re-engagement workflows - no more creating and maintaining separate flows
- Preserve conversation context - when contacts go silent mid-flow, the context stays intact
- Resume naturally - Conversation AI continues from the same workflow pause point
Supported Actions
When contacts stop replying:
- AI Capture Information
- AI Message
- Custom Message
- Book Appointment
- Continue Conversation
When contacts indicate they’re busy or request follow-up timing:
- AI Capture Information
- AI Message
- Book Appointment
- Continue Conversation
Recommendations
Consider consolidating existing separate re-engagement workflows by incorporating follow-ups directly into your primary flows. This improves handoff quality and maintains conversation continuity across departments.
Flexible RSS Publishing in Social Planner
Released February 3, 2026
We’ve rolled out enhancements to RSS Publishing in Social Planner to make RSS automation more flexible and more reliable across different social platforms.
What’s New
Description Inclusion Option
You can now control content depth through a new toggle that lets you include the RSS item description in posts or stick with publishing the title only (the previous default).
Multi-Item Preview
Preview up to 5 RSS items at once, helping you validate feed output and formatting before automation launches.
Platform-Specific Content Generation
Post content now respects individual platform limits independently rather than applying universal restrictions. Links and ending text are preserved whenever possible.
Why This Matters
These changes address common RSS automation challenges:
- Richer content options - improved formatting control
- Validation before publishing - see real-world outcomes before going live
- Reduced truncation - platform-aware limits prevent unexpected cuts
- Fewer failures - reduced RSS-related publishing issues
How to Access
Navigate to Marketing > Social Planner > RSS Automation, enable the description option if desired, review the preview, then save your changes.
Schedule and Drip Deliver Bulk WhatsApp Messages in SMBcrm
Released February 3, 2026
You can now control when and how your Bulk WhatsApp messages are delivered in SMBcrm. This update adds two new sending options for managing message timing and distribution.
What’s New
Scheduled Sends
Set a specific date and time for one-time bulk WhatsApp delivery without manual triggering.
Drip Mode (Batch Delivery)
Gradually roll out messages instead of sending all at once. Configuration options include:
- Batch size - message quantity per batch
- Repeat intervals - batch frequency
- Specific delivery days - choose which days to send
- Time window restrictions - optional hour-based limits
Progress Monitoring
Track sending progress directly from the Bulk Actions page to confirm campaign execution.
How to Set It Up
- Navigate to Bulk Actions > WhatsApp
- Choose recipients and select a WhatsApp template
- Select sending mode - either scheduled one-time delivery or configured drip mode
- Return to Bulk Actions to monitor delivery progress and status
Why This Matters
These options give you better control over large WhatsApp campaigns, smooth delivery volume, and support strategic timing for promotions, announcements, and follow-ups.
Skip Daily Task Alerts When You Have No Tasks
Released February 3, 2026
Daily task summaries are helpful when you have work lined up, but they can also create noise when there’s nothing due. SMBcrm now lets you skip daily due and overdue task notifications on days when you have zero assigned tasks.
What’s New
Skip Daily Task Summaries When There Are No Tasks
You can now enable a setting to prevent daily due and overdue task summaries when no tasks exist.
Benefits:
- Fewer unnecessary notifications
- A cleaner inbox and reduced alert fatigue
- More focus on tasks that actually require action
Where to Find It
Navigate to: Settings > My Profile > Notifications > Task Notifications > Don’t send notifications when there are no tasks
Generate Marketing Audit Reports Automatically in Workflows
Released February 5, 2026
SMBcrm has expanded its Marketing Audit Report functionality beyond the Prospecting tool. You can now automatically generate audit reports for leads from any source using workflow automation.
What’s New
The Generate Marketing Audit Report action is now available in the Workflow Builder. Previously limited to leads generated through the Prospecting tool, audit reports can now be triggered for leads originating from:
- Facebook and Google Ads
- Funnels and landing pages
- Website forms
- Manual contact creation
- Imports and third-party integrations
- The Prospecting tool
What the Audit Report Covers
Each report provides insights on:
- Website performance and health - Technical issues, speed, and overall quality
- Google Business Profile - Setup completeness and potential issues
- Local search rankings - Heatmaps and top 10 competitor data
- Online reputation and reviews - Review presence and sentiment
- Listings and presence accuracy - Directory consistency across platforms
Why This Matters
- Consistent lead evaluation - One audit for every lead, regardless of source, replaces the previous limitation to Prospecting-generated leads
- Personalized outreach - Use actual business data to tailor messaging based on each lead’s specific needs
- Early upsell identification - Spot opportunities using real performance data rather than assumptions
- Automated notifications - Build workflows that alert your team when leads show poor digital health, route based on findings, or trigger follow-ups aligned with specific issues
How to Set It Up
- Open Workflows in your account
- Add the Generate Marketing Audit Report action
- Set a trigger for when new leads are created from any source
- Reports attach automatically to the lead record
Note: This feature requires the Prospecting tool to be enabled on your account.
Improved Email Builder UI with New Layout and Controls
Released February 5, 2026
The SMBcrm email builder has been updated with a cleaner, more intuitive layout designed to reduce friction during email creation and campaign iteration.
New Design Controls
Image Element Borders
Images now support border controls directly in the builder. You can apply border styling to match your brand without needing workarounds or custom code.
Section Background Images
Sections now include background image settings, expanding your layout and design flexibility within the builder. This makes it easier to create visually rich email templates.
Repositionable Edit Panel
You can now relocate the edit panel to the right side of the workspace. This is especially useful when working with Email AI, as it enables side-by-side editing where AI assists on one side while you make manual refinements on the other.
Key Benefits
- Reduced navigation time for accessing settings and controls
- Enhanced styling control without requiring additional steps or custom code
- Smoother transitions between AI-assisted and manual editing
- Improved usability for both new and experienced builders
- Consistent UI across SMBcrm tools
How to Access
- Navigate to Email Marketing
- Open any campaign or template in edit mode
- Enable Email AI for side-by-side functionality
- Use the switch control to toggle the panel position
Note: Email AI and the repositionable panel require enablement through Labs Settings.
Pause Individual Workflow Actions in the Standard Builder
Released February 5, 2026
SMBcrm now lets you temporarily disable individual workflow actions within the Standard Builder without removing them. This makes it easier to test, troubleshoot, and iterate on automations while keeping your existing workflow structure intact.
Why This Matters
Previously, stopping a workflow step required deleting or disconnecting it, risking lost work and broken logic. Pausing provides a safer alternative for testing and troubleshooting without permanent changes.
How It Works
- Open a workflow in the Standard Builder
- Hover over the action (node) you want to disable
- Toggle Pause to disable the action
- Toggle Play to re-enable it when you’re ready
When an action is paused:
- The node appears visually dimmed so you can see at a glance which steps are active
- The action is skipped during execution - contacts pass through without triggering it
- When contacts reach a paused node that is the only downstream path, they skip it and continue through remaining active steps
- Re-enabling requires no rebuilding or reconnecting - just toggle it back on
Use Cases
- Debugging - Temporarily halt specific steps to isolate issues
- A/B testing - Test alternate workflow paths without reconstructing the entire flow
- Seasonal adjustments - Pause holiday-specific actions without dismantling the workflow
- Staged rollouts - Build out new steps in advance and enable them when ready
Advanced Tag Filtering for Workflow Triggers
Released February 6, 2026
SMBcrm has upgraded tag filtering in workflow triggers with advanced operators and multi-select functionality. These enhancements let you create more precise trigger conditions and reduce unnecessary workflow executions.
New Tag Operators
The tag filter now includes four operators:
- Equals to - Trigger fires when the contact has this exact tag
- Not equals to - Trigger fires when the contact does not have this tag
- Any of - Trigger fires when any one of the selected tags is present
- None of - Trigger fires when none of the selected tags are present
The new “Any of” and “None of” operators enable broader segment targeting without requiring additional workflows for each tag variation.
Multi-Select Support
All four operators now support selecting multiple tags at once. This streamlines setup and maintenance, especially for accounts that rely heavily on tag-based segmentation.
Stack Multiple Tag Filters with AND Logic
You can now add multiple tag filters within a single trigger using AND logic. This allows sophisticated inclusion and exclusion rules. For example:
- Tag equals Lead
- Tag does not equal Low Quality
This combined approach reduces workflow duplication and keeps your automation logic clean and manageable.
Current Availability
Advanced tag filtering is live for:
- Contact Created Trigger
- Contact DND Trigger
Additional trigger types are planned, including Opportunity Created, Opportunity Changed, Opportunity Status Changed, Pipeline Stage Changed, and Invoice triggers.
AI Builder Now Generates Workflows in 5 to 10 Seconds
Released February 6, 2026
AI Builder in SMBcrm is now dramatically faster when generating workflows from prompts. In most cases, your first workflow draft appears in under 5 to 10 seconds, making it practical to iterate quickly and test multiple approaches.
Why Speed Matters
Faster generation directly impacts how useful AI Builder is in practice. When you can see results in seconds rather than waiting, you are more likely to experiment with different prompts, refine your approach, and move from concept to working automation faster.
This is especially valuable during:
- First-time exploration when you are learning what AI Builder can do
- Rapid prototyping when testing different workflow structures
- Onboarding when setting up automations for a new account or team
What This Update Covers
The performance improvement currently applies to workflow generation from placeholder prompts. The team plans to extend these speed improvements across all prompt types in upcoming releases.
Use Cases
Teams leveraging workflows for automated follow-ups, lead nurturing, appointment reminders, and internal processes will benefit from moving from idea to working prototype more quickly. Instead of waiting and context-switching, you can stay in the builder and iterate in real time.
How to Enable AI Builder
If AI Builder is not already active in your account, enable it through Settings > Labs > Company > Workflow AI Builder. Once enabled, you will see the AI Builder option when creating or editing workflows.
Email AI Beta 2.0: Faster Guided On-Brand Drafts
Released February 6, 2026
SMBcrm has released Email AI Beta 2.0 to help you create polished, on-brand emails faster with less manual revision. Whether you are building newsletters, promotional campaigns, nurture sequences, or announcements, this update streamlines the entire drafting process.
Key New Features
Reference-Based Generation
Provide a URL preview or image as a design reference, and the AI generates a similar starting point that you can customize with theme commands. This is especially useful when you want to replicate a layout or style you have seen work well.
Assist Mode
Assist Mode adds structured prompt guidance so you are not guessing what to type. Instead of open-ended prompts, you get a step-by-step flow that reduces the number of revisions needed to reach a publication-ready draft.
Brand Board Integration
Email AI now ties more closely with your brand guidelines. During generation, it automatically applies your brand colors, fonts, and tone, maintaining consistency across campaigns and team members.
Enhanced Layout Intelligence
Improved AI models produce cleaner, more tailored layouts, helping you get closer to a publish-ready email with less manual formatting.
Conversational Workflow
The creation experience follows a conversational approach where the AI explains changes and helps you refine content iteratively, rather than delivering a single take-it-or-leave-it result.
Version Control
Each generation saves automatically, so you can undo, redo, and compare earlier versions at any point during the drafting process.
What This Means for Your Team
- Faster campaign launches with less back-and-forth during the draft stage
- Reduced QA overhead thanks to on-brand defaults applied automatically
- More capacity for strategy since execution requires less manual effort
- Better transparency during drafting with the conversational workflow
How to Enable Email AI Beta 2.0
- Go to Settings > Labs > Account Features
- Enable Email AI
- Access it through Email Marketing > Build with AI or within any existing campaign editor
Find Contact Matches Secondary Emails and Phones
Released February 6, 2026
The Find Contact workflow action in SMBcrm has been enhanced to search secondary email addresses and phone numbers alongside primary contact fields. This improvement helps locate existing contact records even when individuals use alternate communication methods.
Why This Matters
Previously, the Find Contact action only checked primary email and phone fields. Many businesses maintain multiple contact points per person, such as work versus personal email or mobile versus landline numbers. Without searching secondary fields, workflows could miss valid matches and inadvertently create duplicate records.
Now, with this update, your automations can reliably match contacts regardless of which email or phone number they use to engage.
How to Set It Up
- Open your workflow and add or edit a Find Contact action
- Select the Phone or Email field to search
- Enable the option to include additional phones or emails in the search
That’s all it takes. The action will now check both primary and secondary fields when looking for a match.
Key Benefits
- Prevent duplicate contacts - Leads re-entering through alternate contact info will match their existing records instead of creating new ones
- Improve automation accuracy - Better matching ensures tags, field updates, and follow-ups apply to the correct contacts
- Reduce manual cleanup - Fewer duplicates means less time spent merging records
OpenRouter Actions and Triggers in SMBcrm Workflows
Released February 6, 2026
SMBcrm has integrated OpenRouter into Workflows, enabling you to invoke AI models and incorporate their responses directly into your automations. This capability lets your team generate text content from prompts and reuse the output across subsequent workflow steps.
How the Generate Response Action Works
The new workflow action accepts three main configurations:
- System Prompt (Optional) - Sets the role and behavior of the AI model
- Prompt (Required) - The main instruction, supporting workflow variables for personalization
- Model Selection (Required) - Choose from OpenRouter’s available AI models
The action includes a Test Action feature so you can validate your prompt and confirm the output before the workflow runs live. You can also validate response schemas for downstream use.
Practical Use Cases
- Draft contextual customer responses using contact details and conversation history
- Summarize form submissions or lengthy conversations into concise notes
- Generate personalized follow-ups incorporating workflow variables like names, appointment details, and past interactions
How to Set It Up
- Open Workflows and search for OpenRouter
- Click Connect Now and authenticate with your OpenRouter API key
- Configure the model selection, system prompt, and prompt fields
- Use Test Action to validate the output
- Map the AI response into messages, custom fields, conditions, or downstream actions
Pricing
OpenRouter actions are classified as premium workflow actions and billed at standard automation rates. OpenRouter model usage is billed separately through OpenRouter’s own pricing structure.
Standard Builder Update: Drag and Drop Triggers and Actions
Released February 6, 2026
SMBcrm’s workflow builder now supports drag-and-drop for triggers and actions. Instead of clicking through menus to add each step, you can drag items directly from the sidebar onto the workflow canvas, making it faster to construct multi-step automations.
How It Works
- Open a workflow and access the Triggers or Actions sidebar
- Click and hold the trigger or action you want to add
- Drag it onto the canvas
- Hover over valid placement areas, which are marked with + symbols or appear between existing nodes
- A highlighted placeholder shows exactly where the step will be inserted
- Drop the step, configure it, and save
The visual feedback makes it clear where each step will land before you release it, so you can build with confidence.
Why This Matters
If you build automations regularly, especially complex multi-step sequences, the previous approach of clicking “Add Step” repeatedly added up. Drag and drop reduces that friction and lets you focus on the logic of your workflow rather than the mechanics of the builder interface.
This is particularly helpful when:
- Building workflows with many sequential steps
- Rearranging or inserting steps between existing nodes
- Quickly prototyping automation ideas before configuring each step in detail
Important Note
Any unsaved dragged items will not persist if you exit without saving. Make sure to save your workflow after adding and configuring new steps.
Member-Specific Course Access and Private Courses
Released February 9, 2026
SMBcrm introduces two interconnected capabilities for community administrators managing educational content: member-specific course access and a new private course type. Together, these give you precise control over who sees what content and when.
Member-Specific Course Access
You can now manually grant or revoke access to individual courses for specific members directly from the Members area. This is useful when you want to deliver content on a case-by-case basis without relying on automated unlock criteria.
How to Grant Access
- Navigate to Community > Members
- Select the member and choose Manage Courses
- Click Grant Courses and select the courses you want to unlock
- The member receives an email notification when access is granted
Important: Access cannot be revoked if a member already meets existing unlock criteria for that course. This ensures that earned access is preserved.
Private Course Type
A new visibility setting lets you create courses that are only accessible when an admin grants access. Private courses cannot unlock automatically, making them ideal for:
- VIP communities where exclusive content is part of the value proposition
- Internal training where access should be tightly controlled
- Premium learning programs where content delivery is tied to enrollment or purchase
How to Create a Private Course
- Add a course through the Learning tab
- Set Course Visibility to Private
- Members will see the course listed as locked until you manually grant them access
Strategic Benefits
These features enable community managers to deliver exclusive learning as a member reward, provide instant onboarding access for new members, and safeguard sensitive training materials from general visibility.
Native Monday.com Actions and Triggers in SMBcrm Workflows
Released February 9, 2026

You can manage Monday.com directly from SMBcrm workflows with these actions:
Create and Update
- Build new boards, groups, columns, items, and subitems
- Modify item and subitem details including statuses, owners, dates, and custom columns
Manage and Search
- Archive boards or groups
- Delete items or groups
- Retrieve board item lists
- Locate items by column values or ID
Test Before You Go Live
A built-in Test Action option lets you validate the setup before running it live. This helps confirm that the schema is correct and enables reusable custom values.
Monday.com Triggers (Coming Soon)
These triggers will activate SMBcrm workflows when activity occurs in Monday.com:
- Column value changes on an item
- Items moved between groups
- New boards, items, or subitems created
- Comments or updates added
- New workspace users added
Practical Use Cases
- Client onboarding: Automatically create a Monday.com project board when a new deal moves to a specific pipeline stage in SMBcrm
- Status sync: Update contact records or trigger follow-up messages when a project status changes in Monday.com
- Cross-tool visibility: Keep tasks and CRM activities synchronized so both sales and project teams see the same picture
How to Set It Up
Connect your Monday.com account in SMBcrm under Settings > Integrations, then add Monday.com actions to any workflow from the workflow builder sidebar.

Conversation AI Session Summaries and Transcripts
Released February 10, 2026
SMBcrm now automatically generates conversation summaries and full transcripts from your Conversation AI sessions. This gives you faster visibility into what happened during AI-driven interactions, complete with audit trails and the ability to trigger automated follow-up actions.
How Summaries and Transcripts Work
Summaries are generated automatically in two scenarios:
- After a configured inactivity period expires: When the contact stops responding for a set amount of time
- When the bot enters sleep mode: This includes message limit reached, workflow-triggered sleep, stop bot conditions, human handover, or manual/automated messages
Each summary captures all new messages since the last generation and includes both inbound and outbound communications. Summaries replace previous ones when regenerated, keeping your records current.
How to Set It Up
- Navigate to AI Agents and select Conversation AI
- Select your bot and open the Bot Goals tab
- Enable Conversation Summary
Available configuration options include:
- Inactivity time parameters: How long to wait before generating a summary
- Minimum message thresholds: Require a minimum number of messages before generating
- Auto-save to contact fields: Store summaries directly on the contact record
- Workflow triggering: Automatically kick off workflows when summaries are generated
- Email notifications: Send summaries to admins, assigned users, assigned contacts, or custom email addresses
Workflow Integration
You can use summaries and transcripts as workflow variables to trigger downstream automations:
Conversation AI > SummaryConversation AI > Transcript
Practical applications include:
- Creating internal notes from conversation summaries
- Extracting customer details for automatic field updates
- Routing conversations to the right team member for human review
- Identifying FAQ gaps by analyzing common questions across sessions
Why This Matters
Before this update, reviewing what happened in an AI conversation meant manually reading through message threads. Now you get centralized, contextual records that are generated automatically and can trigger CRM actions based on conversation outcomes. This is especially valuable for teams managing high volumes of AI-assisted conversations who need accountability and follow-through without manual overhead.
Set Default Payment Providers by Channel
Released February 10, 2026
SMBcrm now lets you assign distinct payment processors for individual channels, with separate configurations for Live and Test modes. Previously, a single default processor applied across all payment channels. This update gives you full control over how payments are routed depending on the sales channel.
Why This Matters
Different sales channels often have varying requirements around fees, transaction sizes, and refund procedures. With channel-specific defaults, you can route payments more intentionally without repeatedly adjusting global settings. For example, one processor might handle invoices while another manages funnel payments.
Test mode configurations remain fully independent from Live mode settings, so you can validate your setup safely without affecting actual transactions.
How to Set It Up
- Navigate to Payments > Integrations in your SMBcrm dashboard
- Click the gear icon labeled Configure Providers
- Use the dropdown menus to select a provider for each channel
- Toggle between Live and Test modes to configure each independently
You can select any payment provider already connected to your account.
Supported Channels
This feature currently applies to:
- Funnels (one-step and two-step order forms)
- Forms, Stores, Calendars
- Invoices and Invoice Auto Payment
- Payment Links
- Courses and Communities
- Surveys
What’s Coming Next
The team plans to expand channel coverage and is considering offering-level provider defaults, which would allow different stores within one account to use different processors.
Duplicate Suppression Management for Listings in SMBcrm
Released February 11, 2026
SMBcrm Listings now includes duplicate suppression management, helping you find and remove duplicate business listings across major directories like Google, Bing, and Apple Maps. Duplicate listings can cause real problems for your business, and this feature gives you the tools to address them directly from your dashboard.
Why Duplicates Are a Problem
When multiple listings exist for the same business across directories, it can lead to:
- Conflicting business information: Different hours, addresses, or contact details confuse potential customers
- Weakened local SEO: Search engines struggle to determine which listing is authoritative, diluting your ranking power
- Diminished customer trust: Inconsistent data across platforms makes your business appear unreliable
- Excessive manual work: Tracking down and correcting duplicates across multiple platforms is time-consuming
How It Works
Automatic Detection
SMBcrm runs monthly automated scans across major directories, flagging potential duplicates in a centralized dashboard. Each result is categorized by status: Possible Duplicates, Processing Suppression, Suppressed, and Unable to Suppress.
Suppression Requests
You can submit removal requests directly to directory publishers from within SMBcrm. Requests are typically reviewed within 24 hours, though timing varies by publisher. Once approved, duplicate listings are removed from search results.
False Positive Management
If the system flags a listing that is not actually a duplicate, you can mark it as “Not a Duplicate” to permanently dismiss it and keep your dashboard focused on genuine issues.
Real-Time Tracking
Monitor the progress of all suppression requests across the full lifecycle, from submission through resolution.
How to Get Started
- Navigate to the Listings section in your SMBcrm account
- Select the Duplicate Suppression tab
- Review flagged results showing your correct listing, the potential duplicate, and publisher information
- Suppress confirmed duplicates or dismiss false positives
Benefits
- Stronger local SEO authority with one clear, authoritative listing per directory
- Better customer experience through accurate, consistent information everywhere
- Improved brand consistency across all platforms
- Less time spent manually hunting for and correcting duplicates
This feature is available for all SMBcrm Listings users with supported directory synchronization, and scans refresh monthly.
Full Product Titles Display on Cart and Checkout
Released February 11, 2026
Product titles now display in full across most SMBcrm store pages, so your customers can quickly understand exactly what they are buying, especially during high-intent steps like cart and checkout where clarity matters most.
Where Full Titles Now Appear
Complete, untruncated product titles are now shown on:
- Product Detail Page (PDP)
- Cart Page
- Side Cart / Cart Overlay
- Checkout Page
- Thank You Page
- Upsell Product Element
- Collection List Element
- Featured Product Element
Titles automatically wrap across multiple lines as needed while maintaining proper layout alignment with pricing and call-to-action buttons.
What’s Not Included
The following areas continue to use the existing truncation behavior for now:
- Product List Page (PLP)
- Featured Products Element
Key Details
- Full titles are enabled by default: no action required on your part
- There is no configuration toggle currently available
- Layout, pricing alignment, and CTA buttons remain visually consistent across desktop and mobile
This is a straightforward improvement that removes a common source of customer confusion, particularly for stores with descriptive or variant-specific product names.
Product Listing Pages Support Up to 100 Products
Released February 11, 2026
More Products, Less Pagination
SMBcrm has increased the maximum number of products you can display on a Product Listing Page (PLP) from 24 to 100 products per page. This gives store owners significantly more control over how customers browse their catalogs.
Why This Matters
For stores with large product inventories, the previous 24-item limit meant customers had to click through multiple pages to see your full selection. With the new 100-product limit:
- Less pagination: Customers see more of your catalog without clicking through pages
- Better product discoverability: Items that were buried on page 3 or 4 are now visible on the first page
- Smoother browsing experience: Especially beneficial for desktop shoppers who can scan larger product grids
How to Configure
- Edit your Product List Page in the SMBcrm page builder
- Select the Product List element
- Navigate to the Layout section in element settings
- Use the slider to set your preferred products-per-page count (up to 100)
Choose a count that balances discoverability with page load performance. Stores with image-heavy product listings may want to test different counts to find the right balance for their audience.
Split Business Hours and Flexible Scheduling in Listings
Released February 11, 2026
Flexible Scheduling for Real Business Hours
SMBcrm Listings now supports split business hours and enhanced scheduling options. Previously limited to a single continuous timeframe per day, you can now configure multiple time blocks, 24-hour operations, or always-open status to accurately reflect how your business actually operates.
What’s New
Split Business Hours
Add multiple time intervals within a single day to accommodate lunch breaks, split shifts, or other gaps. For example, you can set hours like 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM, 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM, and 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM all on the same day.
24-Hour Operations
Mark any day as open around the clock with a single setting.
Always Open (No Set Hours)
A new checkbox lets you indicate that your business is always available but does not maintain a fixed schedule. This is ideal for online businesses, appointment-based services, or any operation that does not follow traditional hours.
Copy to All Days
A time-saving feature that applies your configured hours across the entire week simultaneously, so you do not have to set each day individually.
Traditional Options
Single continuous hours, closed days, and varied daily schedules remain fully available alongside the new options.
How to Configure
- Access your business listing and select Business Details
- Navigate to the Business Hours section and choose the day to configure
- Select your schedule type: Split, 24 Hours, Open, or Closed
- Alternatively, check the “Business open without set hours” option for always-available status
- Use Copy to All to apply the same configuration across the entire week
Why This Matters
Many businesses do not operate on a single 9-to-5 block. Restaurants close between lunch and dinner service, medical offices have morning and afternoon hours, and online businesses are available around the clock. Accurately representing your hours reduces customer confusion and eliminates the workarounds that were previously required for complex schedules.
This feature supports both Yext and Uberall integrations and is available to all SMBcrm Listings users.
AI Builder: Conversational Editing for If-Else and Wait
Released February 16, 2026
SMBcrm’s AI Builder now lets you edit If-Else and Wait actions directly through conversation. Previously, you could create these actions with AI, but any refinements required switching to manual configuration. Now you can iterate on complex workflow logic without leaving the AI Builder interface.
What’s New
Multi-turn editing for complex actions
You can refine workflow logic conversationally, making adjustments to existing actions while preserving the rest of your workflow. No need to rebuild anything from scratch just to tweak a condition or change a delay.
Wait action editing
AI Builder now adjusts Wait actions through conversation, including:
- Updating time delays and window configurations
- Adding or removing timeout branches without disrupting your workflow structure
- Converting between wait types (for example, switching from a multi-branch email wait to a simple delay)
- Preserving existing branch configurations during modifications
If-Else action editing
You can refine branching logic conversationally while keeping downstream connections intact:
- Add new branches or remove existing ones
- Update conditions and switch between AND/OR operators
- Maintain existing branch nodes and downstream actions after edits
Why This Matters
If-Else and Wait steps are often the most tedious parts of a workflow to configure manually. Being able to describe changes in plain language and have AI Builder apply them saves time, reduces context-switching, and makes it easier to iterate on complex automation logic without accidentally breaking something downstream.
Deskphone Extension Calling and IVR Call Transfers in SMBcrm
Released February 16, 2026
SMBcrm now supports two improvements for teams using deskphones: extension-to-extension calling and the ability to transfer IVR calls between deskphones. These updates help streamline call routing, reduce hold times, and connect callers with the right team member more quickly.
IVR Call Transfers Between Deskphones
Previously, calls that came in through an IVR system could not be transferred from one deskphone to another. That limitation has been removed.
How it works
- While handling an active IVR call on your deskphone, initiate a transfer
- Dial your colleague’s extension number
- The call routes directly to their deskphone
Regular (non-IVR) deskphone transfers continue to work as they always have. This update specifically addresses IVR-originated calls that previously could not be handed off between extensions.
Extension-to-Extension Deskphone Calling
Team members with configured deskphones can now dial extensions directly to reach colleagues. For example, dialing “3001” connects you to the deskphone user assigned to that extension.
Current availability
- Extension-to-extension calling works on physical deskphones
- Web and mobile app support is planned for a future release
Why This Matters
For teams that rely on phone-based workflows, being able to transfer IVR calls and dial extensions internally means fewer dropped calls, less time spent manually routing callers, and a smoother experience for both your team and your customers.
Enhanced ESP Block Monitoring and Sending Enforcement
Released February 16, 2026
Proactive Email Deliverability Protection
SMBcrm has introduced enhanced ESP block monitoring with progressive enforcement to protect your email deliverability. When block rates exceed acceptable thresholds, the platform now takes graduated action to prevent lasting damage to your sender reputation.
What’s New
Account-Level Monitoring with Warning Notifications
When your account surpasses acceptable ESP block thresholds, SMBcrm sends a warning notification indicating that email sending may face temporary suspension if issues persist. This gives you time to take corrective action before any disruption occurs.
Temporary Sending Suspensions
If elevated block activity continues after a warning, email sending is temporarily suspended based on violation history:
- First suspension: 12-hour temporary halt
- Repeated violations: 24-hour temporary halt
Potential Permanent Suspension
Accounts experiencing two suspension occurrences may eventually face permanent email sending suspension in a future enforcement phase.
Why This Matters
High ESP block volumes create serious deliverability consequences that affect your entire email program:
- Sender reputation deterioration across mailbox providers
- Increased spam folder placement for your messages
- Mailbox provider throttling that slows delivery
- Domain or IP blacklisting that can take weeks to resolve
- Shared infrastructure impact that affects platform reliability for all users
This update protects your inbox placement, ensures compliance with major providers like Gmail, Yahoo, and Outlook, and prevents high-risk sending patterns from degrading the platform for other SMBcrm users.
What You Should Do
If you receive a warning notification, take these steps promptly:
- Verify clear opt-in: Confirm contacts have explicitly opted in and are actively engaging with your emails
- Clean your lists: Remove or suppress contacts that consistently bounce, unsubscribe, or show no engagement
- Maintain consistent volume: Avoid sudden spikes in sending volume that trigger provider scrutiny
- Review content and authentication: Ensure your message content follows best practices and your email authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) is properly configured
Highlight Contact Path Adds Status Indicators in Workflows
Released February 16, 2026
Enhanced Visual Debugging for Workflow Paths
The Highlight Contact Path feature in SMBcrm workflows now includes enhanced visual indicators that make it faster to understand exactly what happened during a contact’s journey through your automation. Instead of manually checking logs, you can see errors, skipped steps, and status at a glance directly in the workflow builder.
What’s New
Error Visibility in the Builder
Workflow steps that encountered errors are now visually highlighted. You can pinpoint failure points without guessing, making it straightforward to identify and resolve issues.
Skipped Node Indicators
Steps that a contact bypassed during execution are clearly marked. This helps you confirm whether your routing logic and conditional branches are functioning as intended.
Entry and Exit Status Indicators
Visual markers now display workflow entry and exit points, establishing clear execution boundaries. You can immediately see where a contact entered the workflow and where they exited.
In-Progress Contact Tracking
Contacts actively moving through a workflow are identifiable at a glance. This is especially helpful for diagnosing timing-related issues or confirming that contacts are progressing as expected.
Why This Matters
These visibility improvements reduce debugging time by revealing:
- Error locations within the workflow
- Steps that were skipped by conditional logic
- Clear workflow start and end points
- Contacts currently in progress
This means less time checking execution logs and fewer assumptions when reviewing workflow behavior.
How to Use It
- Open your workflow and navigate to Enrollment History or Execution History
- Click the Highlight Contact Path icon for any contact
- Review the enhanced path with error nodes, skipped steps, and status indicators displayed directly on the builder canvas
Import Audio and Video into Courses from Media Storage
Released February 16, 2026
If you build courses in SMBcrm, you no longer need to re-upload audio and video files you already have. A new Labs feature lets you import media directly from your existing Media Storage into course lessons, saving time and keeping your files organized in one place.
What’s New
You can now browse your Media Storage library from within the course builder and pull audio or video files directly into any lesson. This means content you have already uploaded, whether it is a podcast episode, a training recording, or a walkthrough video, can be reused across multiple courses without creating duplicates.
How to Enable It
This feature is available in Labs. Here is how to turn it on:
- Navigate to Labs in your SMBcrm account
- Find and activate Courses: Import from Media Storage
- Open a course and select a lesson to edit
- Click the Import via Media Library option
- Select the audio or video file you want to use
- Save and publish the lesson
The media links directly from your Media Storage, so there is no extra copy taking up space.
Why It Matters
- No more duplicate uploads: Reuse files you have already added to Media Storage
- Centralized media management: Keep all your audio and video in one location and reference it across courses
- Faster course creation: Skip the upload step and go straight to building your lessons
Manus Triggers and Actions Now Available in SMBcrm Workflows
Released February 16, 2026
SMBcrm now includes native Manus triggers and actions inside the Workflows builder. You can create, manage, and automate Manus AI tasks directly in SMBcrm without relying on third-party automation tools.
Manus is a task-based AI system where each task begins with a prompt, processes structured AI logic, returns a response, and can accept follow-up prompts. With this integration, you can build repeatable AI-powered processes for content generation, follow-ups, summarization, internal SOPs, and more.
Available Triggers
These triggers fire when events happen on the Manus side:
- New Task Created: Starts a workflow when a Manus task is created
- Task Stopped: Starts a workflow when a Manus task completes or stops
Note: Triggers only activate for tasks created via workflow actions, not tasks created directly in the Manus app.
Available Actions
These actions let your workflows interact with Manus:
- Create Task: Spin up a new Manus task from a workflow
- Get Task: Retrieve task details and output
- Update Task: Modify an existing task
- Fetch Tasks: Pull a list of tasks
- Delete Task: Remove a task
- Continue a Task with a Prompt: Send a follow-up prompt to keep the AI working
How to Connect Manus
From the Workflow Builder
- Go to Automation > Workflows
- Add a Manus trigger or action to your workflow
- Click Connect Now
- Authenticate with your Manus API key
From Integrations Settings
- Go to Settings > Integrations
- Select Manus
- Click Connect
- Enter your API key
To get your API key, visit your Manus API Settings, click Create New, and copy the generated key into SMBcrm.
Best Practices
Store the Task ID returned by the Create Task action in a custom field. You can then reference that ID in follow-up actions like Get Task, Continue Task, Update Task, or Delete Task. This approach makes it straightforward to build multi-step AI workflows that pick up where they left off.
Important Notes
- Triggers poll every 5 minutes
- Manus actions and triggers count as premium workflow steps
- Manus AI usage is billed separately from your SMBcrm subscription
- Task limits depend on your Manus subscription tier
- Full AI task output is available in the Manus dashboard; use the Get Task action to pull results back into SMBcrm
Common Troubleshooting
If a Manus action fails, check these first:
- Is the integration still connected?
- Is the Task ID valid and the task still active?
- Did you include a prompt input where required?
- Is your Manus API authorization still active?

Voice Dictation Now Available in AI Builder and Assistant
Released February 16, 2026
You can now use your voice to interact with AI Builder and AI Assistant in SMBcrm. Instead of typing out workflow instructions or questions, just speak naturally and let the system transcribe and process your input.
What’s New
Voice-to-workflow creation
Click the microphone icon in the AI Builder prompt box, describe the workflow you want, and SMBcrm transcribes your speech and generates the corresponding workflow automatically. This is especially useful when you want to quickly capture an idea or prefer talking through your automation logic.
Multi-language support
The voice recognition system supports multiple languages, so globally distributed teams can work in their preferred language without switching tools.
Faster drafting
Go from concept to a functional workflow draft in seconds. Voice input eliminates the typing step during initial configuration, making it faster to get a first version built that you can then review and refine.
How to Use It
- Open the workflow builder and find the AI Builder prompt box
- Click the microphone icon
- Speak your workflow requirements naturally
- The system transcribes your speech and generates the workflow
- Review, refine, and activate
Tips for Best Results
- Be specific: Include goals, triggers, and actions in your description. For example, “When a new lead comes in, tag them as hot, send a welcome email, and assign a follow-up task to the sales team.”
- Review before activating: Voice-generated workflows are a strong starting point, but always verify timing, assignments, and messaging before turning them on.
Workflows Builder: Expanded Error Highlighting
Released February 16, 2026
The SMBcrm Workflows Builder now catches more configuration issues before your workflows go live. We have expanded error highlighting coverage and strengthened save-time validation so you can spot problems earlier and fix them faster.
What Changed
Expanded validation coverage
The error highlighting system now covers significantly more workflow components:
- Actions with error highlighting: Increased from 14 to 48
- Triggers with error highlighting: Increased from 26 to 28
That means far more of your workflow steps are now visually flagged when something is misconfigured, right inside the builder interface.
Stronger If-Else and Wait validation
Validation for If-Else and Wait steps now runs during the save process. Previously, some configuration problems in these steps would only surface during execution. Now they are caught at the point of commitment, before your workflow is activated.
Why This Matters
Faster troubleshooting. Misconfigurations are highlighted directly in the builder, making it easy to see exactly which step needs attention.
Fewer execution failures. Catching issues during setup means fewer workflows failing after they have been turned on, which saves you time and protects your automations from unexpected interruptions.
Greater confidence. When you hit save and see no errors, you can trust that your workflow is structurally sound. This is especially valuable when managing complex automations with many branching paths.
Advanced Tag Filtering for Opportunity and Invoice Triggers
Released February 20, 2026
Advanced tag filtering in SMBcrm workflow triggers has expanded beyond contact-based triggers to include opportunity-based triggers and invoices. This expansion provides enhanced control over automation execution based on contact tags.
What This Update Does
You can now refine trigger conditions using advanced tag filtering, ensuring workflows only activate for the appropriate contacts. This functionality helps minimize unnecessary workflow runs and simplifies your automation logic as your tagging strategy expands.
Now Live for These Triggers
Previously available on:
- Contact Created
- Contact DND
Now also available on:
- Opportunity Created
- Opportunity Changed
- Opportunity Status Changed
- Pipeline Stage Changed
- Invoice
How Teams Typically Use This
Cleaner Opportunity Automations
If you use tags for segmentation like lead source, customer type, region, or service line, you can prevent opportunity workflows from running for contacts that do not match the intended audience.
More Precise Billing and Post-Purchase Workflows
For invoice-triggered automations, advanced tag filtering enables targeting of invoice follow-ups, onboarding procedures, or internal notifications specifically for contacts in designated programs or segments.
Assign Template Signature Fields to Any Staff Member
Released February 20, 2026
Previously, the template editor restricted signature field assignments to three options: Contact, Sender, or Yourself. This limitation was problematic when organizations needed specific team members, such as account managers or authorized signers, to provide business signatures.
You can now assign signature fields to anyone on your full staff list directly inside the template editor.
How to Use It
- Navigate to Templates and create a new template or edit an existing one
- Add a Signature field or fillable field requiring signing
- In the right-side Properties panel, select To be signed by
- Choose the appropriate person from the staff list
- Save the template
Once saved, that staff member will be automatically assigned the signature role when the document is used.
Why This Matters
This enhancement benefits teams managing multi-user document processes by:
- Enabling assignment of business-side signatures to the correct staff member rather than generic options
- Eliminating repetitive manual reassignment tasks during document distribution
- Enabling more scalable and standardized document workflows as teams expand
Audit Logs for Deleted Page Builder Assets
Released February 20, 2026
SMBcrm has enhanced its Page Builder with audit logging for deleted assets. Audit logs are now created whenever certain saved builder assets are deleted, giving you a clearer trail of what changed and when.
What’s Included
Deletion logs now track the following asset types:
- Section Templates
- Global Sections
- Universal Sections
- Element Templates
- Universal Element Templates
Coverage extends across Funnels, Websites, Stores, and Webinars.
What Gets Logged When an Asset Is Deleted
When these assets are removed, the system records a Deleted audit log entry containing:
- The asset name
- The asset ID
This specificity is valuable when distinguishing between similarly named components.
How to Access Audit Logs
- Navigate to Settings → Audit Logs
- Search by user to filter activity
- Filter by action to locate “Deleted” entries
- Review timestamps and change details
Why This Matters
The feature addresses accidental removals in collaborative settings. It enables quick verification of what was deleted, identification by asset ID, and confirmation of when deletion occurred.
Bulk Set Date-Specific Hours for Meetings and Rentals
Released February 20, 2026
Managing date-specific availability is now much faster across Meetings and Rentals (Private Beta). Previously, setting date-specific hours required individual date configuration. The new feature enables you to select multiple dates at once and apply a single set of hours in one action.
What’s New
Select Multiple Dates at Once
Choose more than one date from the date picker when adding date-specific hours, then apply the same start and end time across all selected dates.
Set Hours Once and Apply in Bulk
Instead of repeating the same setup day-by-day:
- Configure start and end time once for the selected dates
- Apply the configuration across all selected dates in one action
- View grouped date ranges for cleaner organization
How Date Grouping Works
When selecting multiple dates, the system automatically groups consecutive dates together to simplify management.
Grouping Rules
- Consecutive dates are grouped into a single block
- Non-consecutive dates are shown as separate blocks
Example
If you select Jan 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, and 9:
- Jan 2-5 appears as one grouped entry
- Jan 8-9 appears as another grouped entry
Each grouped entry can be edited or deleted independently later.
Why This Matters
This update helps adjust availability for holidays, special events, or short-term schedule changes. It saves time by removing repetitive date-by-date setup, keeps date-specific availability cleaner with smart grouping, and works well for seasonal hours, closures, and limited-time schedules.
Chat Widget Replies Supported in Customer Replied Trigger
Released February 20, 2026
You can now trigger workflows when a customer replies through an All-in-One Chat widget. This update adds clearer options and more specific filters, so you can build automations based on exactly how a customer responded.
What This Update Helps You Do
- Select All-in-One Chat directly from the Reply Channel dropdown
- Filter replies by Chat Type (Chat Widget or Live Chat)
- Select specific All-in-One Chat widget configurations
- Create cleaner, more precise workflow logic for unified chat setups
What’s New in the Customer Replied Trigger
All-in-One Chat as a Reply Channel
Inside the Customer Replied trigger, you will now see All-in-One Chat as an option under Reply Channel, alongside other channels like Email, Messenger, and more.
Additional Filters
Once Reply Channel is set to All-in-One Chat, two extra layers of filtering appear:
Chat Type filter - Choose between Chat Widget or Live Chat to decide whether the reply needs to come from a full chat widget experience or specifically from the live chat component.
Dynamic widget configuration selection - Based on your Chat Type selection, the next filter updates automatically. If Chat Type is Chat Widget, you see a dropdown listing only All-in-One Chat widgets. If Chat Type is Live Chat, you see a dropdown listing All-in-One Live Chat configurations.
How to Use It
- Go to Automation → Workflows
- Add a trigger: Customer Replied
- Under Reply Channel, select All In One Chat
- Choose Chat Type: Chat Widget or Live Chat
- Select the specific configuration
- Click Save Trigger, add your actions, and publish your workflow
Why This Matters
Previously, replies from unified chat experiences were harder to distinguish cleanly. Now you get a dedicated All-in-One Chat option with structured filters, making it easier to maintain workflows and keep routing and follow-ups consistent across chat sources.
Notes
- All-in-One Chat support is currently available only in the Customer Replied trigger
- Existing Chat Widget-based workflow triggers continue working as they do today
- No migration is required

Conversation AI Response Style Settings
Released February 24, 2026
Conversation AI now includes response style settings that let you control how long and detailed bot replies should be. You can choose from Concise, Balanced, or Detailed based on how you want your bot to respond in customer conversations.
This update applies at the bot level and influences how AI responses are generated in Auto-Pilot mode. You can learn more about related AI features and communication tools.
What Changed
You can now:
- Turn response style settings on or off
- Choose one of three response styles:
- Concise for short replies of about 30 words
- Balanced for moderate detail of about 80 words
- Detailed for more complete replies of up to 200 words
- Apply the setting at the bot level
- Influence how replies are generated in Auto-Pilot mode
If this setting is turned off, the bot will continue responding as it does today.
How to Use It
- Go to Conversation AI and open Bot Settings
- Scroll to Response Settings
- Turn on Response Style Settings
- Select Concise, Balanced, or Detailed
- Click Save
Important Notes
- Response style is a guiding instruction, not a strict word cap
- Reply length may vary based on the conversation and the amount of information needed
- Avoid adding conflicting length instructions in your custom prompt, such as requiring a fixed word count
- If multiple length instructions are used, prompt-level instructions may override or conflict with the selected style
Why It Matters
This gives you more control over reply depth without changing your prompts. It can also help create more natural conversations and better match response length to the context of each interaction.
Sort Custom Object List Views by Custom Fields
Released February 24, 2026
You can now sort custom object list views by custom fields, not just created or updated dates. This update helps you organize and prioritize records using the data that matters most to your team.
For teams using CRM and contact management tools, this can make large record lists easier to scan and manage. It pairs well with automation workflows that trigger based on field values.
What Changed
- Sort custom object list views by custom fields
- Sort from the Sort dropdown or by clicking a column header
- Toggle between ascending and descending order
How to Use It
Sort from a column header
Click a custom field column header to sort the list. Click it again to reverse the sort order.
Sort from the Sort menu
Open List View, click Sort, choose a custom field, and then select ascending or descending order.
This is useful when the field you want to sort by is not currently shown in the list view.
Why It Matters
- Faster navigation in large datasets
- Easier prioritization for values like price, renewal date, status, or priority
- Less manual scanning and filtering
Notes
Sorting is not supported for these field types:
- Dropdown (Multiple)
- Checkbox
- Textbox List
Updated Toll-Free Verification for Political Messaging
Released February 24, 2026
SMBcrm has updated the toll-free verification flow to align with revised carrier requirements, with added requirements for political election campaign use cases.
This update includes:
- A redesigned multi-step verification flow
- Additional required business details
- Expanded messaging use case information
- Campaign Verify token support for political messaging
These changes affect how SMS and communication features are verified for compliance. If you use workflow automations that send SMS messages, make sure your toll-free verification is up to date.
What Changed in the Verification Flow
The updated flow now collects more complete information across three steps.
Step 1: Business and Contact Information
Users are now asked to provide:
- Legal entity name
- DBA name
- Legal entity type
- Business registration authority, number, and country when applicable
- Website URL
- First and last name
- Country code and phone number
Step 2: Business Address
The address step includes:
- Country code
- State
- Address line 1
- City
- Postal or ZIP code
Step 3: Messaging Use Case
The use case step now requires more detail to support messaging transparency, including:
- Estimated monthly volume
- Opt-in type
- Use case categories
- Public image URLs showing opt-in workflow proof
- Detailed use case description
- Sample message content
Users must also certify agreement to the Terms of Service before submission.
Political Campaign Requirements
Carriers have introduced stricter compliance standards for political election campaigns using toll-free numbers.
Effective February 17, 2026:
- All new and existing toll-free verifications for Political Election Campaigns must include a valid Campaign Verify Auth Token
- Without a valid token, political use cases may be rejected or restricted
When the use case category is set to Political Election Campaigns, these additional fields appear:
- Campaign Vetting Token (CV Auth Token)
- Vetting Provider (Campaign Verify)
The CV Auth Token must follow this format:
cv||mno|tfree||
How to Get a Campaign Verify Token
Political organizations must complete verification directly with Campaign Verify before submitting toll-free verification.
The process includes:
- Registering the political organization
- Completing identity and eligibility verification
- Undergoing required compliance checks
- Receiving a CV Auth Token upon approval
- Entering that token in the toll-free verification form
Important Compliance Notes
- Applies to both new and existing toll-free numbers
- Required for federal, state, and local political campaigns
- Carriers may reject traffic without proper Campaign Verify authentication
- Increased messaging throughput and compliance approval depend on valid verification
Who Is Affected
This update is relevant for:
- Accounts sending political messaging over toll-free numbers
- Existing toll-free numbers already approved for political use cases
Why It Matters
These changes help reduce rejection risk, improve transparency in the verification process, and support compliance for political messaging.
AI Builder Cuts Workflow Generation Time by 52%
Released February 25, 2026
AI Builder now generates workflows in under 28 seconds on average, compared with about 60 seconds before. Based on internal automation testing, this improvement also applies to custom prompts, not just template prompts.
For teams using automation tools, this means faster workflow setup without a reported tradeoff in accuracy or correctness.
What changed
- Average workflow generation time dropped from about 60 seconds to under 28 seconds
- The source notes a 52.8% reduction in latency
- The improvement applies to custom user prompts as well as template prompts
- Workflow accuracy and correctness remain unchanged
Why it matters
AI Builder is now faster than manual workflow creation, including for experienced users. That makes it a quicker way to build workflows across different skill levels, not just for beginners.
Availability
AI Builder is currently available in Labs and is free to use. You can enable it in Settings under Labs and Company.
Blogs: Improved URL Importer Experience
Released February 25, 2026
SMBcrm has updated the blog URL importer to make content migration easier and more reliable. The experience now includes a clearer import flow, simpler metadata mapping, and better handling for posts that are only partially mapped.
What changed
Clearer import flow
The importer now follows a more guided process:
- Scan
- Review
- Map
- Import
Updates include:
- Improved button labels
- Clearer progression between steps
- Better scanning feedback
- More intuitive placeholder text
Easier content mapping
The metadata mapping experience has been simplified to reduce friction during import.
Changes include:
- Fixed Previous and Next navigation issues
- Clearer preview and selection experience
- Better visibility into mapped versus unmapped posts
This makes it easier to see what is ready to import before you continue.
Manual metadata mapping during import
If imported posts are missing metadata, you can now add it during the import process instead of cancelling and starting over.
This includes:
- Categories
- Authors
- Tags
Smarter handling for mapped and unmapped posts
Imports are now more flexible:
- Mapped posts are imported as Published
- Unmapped posts are imported as Draft
You can import both types in the same process without being blocked, while still keeping content status aligned with mapping completeness.
Why it matters
These changes help users:
- Complete blog migrations with higher success rates
- Move content from an external CMS with more confidence
- Avoid manual copy and paste workflows
- Reduce support dependency for blog recovery or mapping issues
How to use it
- Go to Sites → Blogs.
- Click Create New Blog Post → Import.
- Enter the homepage URL and scan.
- Review the detected posts.
- Map metadata such as author, category, and tags if needed.
- Import mapped and or unmapped posts.
Posts are automatically assigned the appropriate status based on mapping:
- Published for mapped posts
- Draft for unmapped posts
Bulk Import for Companies
Released February 25, 2026
You can import company records into CRM in bulk with a structured CSV workflow. This update supports creating new companies, updating existing ones, or doing both in a guided 4-step process.
This feature is currently available behind Labs. Enable it in your account under Labs by turning on Company and Custom Object Import.
What’s Included
- Bulk CSV import for company records
- A 4-step guided flow: Start, Upload, Map, and Verify
- Options to:
- Create new companies
- Create and update existing companies
- Update existing companies
- Duplicate detection based on Company ID
- Column-to-field mapping with preview data
- Protection against overwriting fields with empty values
- A review screen before the import runs
- A dedicated Bulk Actions page for tracking company imports
- Import statistics for success, errors, and warnings
- A downloadable import report for auditing
Why It Matters
Bulk company import can speed up CRM migration work, reduce manual data entry, and improve accuracy during onboarding. It also gives teams clearer visibility into import results so issues can be reviewed and corrected more easily.
Bulk Import for Custom Objects
Released February 25, 2026
SMBcrm now supports bulk CSV imports for custom object records using the same general flow used for contacts and opportunities.
This helps teams add or update records faster, control how duplicates are handled, and monitor results from a single import workflow inside CRM & Sales.
What changed
You can now import custom object records in bulk by CSV with these options:
- Create new records
- Update existing records
- Create and update in the same import
- Choose whether blank cells overwrite existing values
- Review import success and error counts in Bulk Actions
This feature is available under account Labs as Company and Custom Object Import.
How it works
- Go to Custom Object > Import.
- Upload your CSV file.
- Choose an import mode:
- Create creates new records
- Update requires a Record ID
- Create + Update updates a record when a Record ID exists and creates one when it does not
- Map your columns, review the import, and start it.
- Track progress and results in Bulk Actions.
Duplicate handling
If your custom object includes multiple unique fields in the import mapping, you will choose one field to use for deduplication.
If another unique field conflicts, that row will fail. This helps prevent accidental duplicate or invalid records.
Current limitation
Only one custom object can be imported at a time.
Canva Integration in Media Storage
Released February 25, 2026
You can now connect Canva directly in Media Storage to browse designs, edit files, download assets, and import designs into My Media.

What You Can Do
With the Canva connection in Media Storage, you can:
- Browse Canva designs
- Edit a design in Canva
- Download files
- Import designs into My Media
How It Works
Canva is connected at the account level.
- Only one Canva account can be connected per account
- All users in the account can view assets
- Proxy users using Login As cannot access the Canva connection
How to Use It
Connect Canva
- Go to Media Storage and open the Canva tab
- Select Connect
- Install Canva from the App Marketplace
- Complete OAuth
- Your designs will appear in Media Storage
Edit from the Canva Tab
- Open the 3-dot menu on a design
- Select Edit in Canva
- Import the updated version back into My Media
Edit from My Media
Editing from My Media is available for PNG, JPG, and JPEG files.
- Open the file in My Media
- Select Edit in Canva
- Re-import the updated version
Permissions and Access
- The installer has full edit access
- Other users can view, search, download, and import assets
- Only one OAuth connection is allowed per installation
If a non-installer tries to edit a file, they will have view-only access and may need to import it into their own storage or contact an admin.
Additional Notes
Smart Design Tracking
Smart design tracking helps prevent duplicate Canva copies when editing from My Media.
Disconnecting Canva
To disconnect Canva, uninstall it through the App Marketplace.
Previously imported files will remain in your account.
Good to Know
- Only one Canva account can be connected per account
- Files must be imported before they can be used in funnels or emails
- Private Canva files cannot be edited
Improved Calendar Settings Experience
Released February 25, 2026
SMBcrm has updated the Calendar Settings experience to make configuration clearer, more structured, and easier to navigate. The redesigned layout groups related settings together, adds contextual helper text, and uses more screen space for better readability.
What Changed
Clearer settings organization
Calendar settings are now grouped into defined sections:
- Basic details
- Staff and account
- Availability
- Booking rules
- Advanced settings
The Advanced settings section includes:
- Form and confirmation
- Payments
- Notifications and policies
- Widget appearance
- External sync for event calendars
- Booking channels for other calendar types
This structure keeps related options together and makes navigation more intuitive.
Contextual helper text
Each section now includes short helper text to explain the purpose of its settings. This should make options easier to understand, especially for users setting up calendars for the first time.
Wider layout
The Calendar Settings panel now uses a wider layout to improve readability. According to the update, this helps reduce vertical stacking, improves spacing between fields, and remains responsive across standard screen sizes.
How to Access It
Go to Calendars → Calendar Settings → Meetings → Edit Calendar to view the updated layout.
Why It Matters
This update is designed to help users:
- Set up calendars more quickly
- Read and review settings more easily
- See more options without excessive scrolling
- Find configuration settings with less confusion
LinkedIn Ad Campaigns Now in Account Templates
Released February 25, 2026
Agency users can now include LinkedIn ad campaign structures in account templates and apply them across accounts. This helps teams reuse campaign setups without rebuilding campaign groups, campaigns, and ads manually.
What Changed
You can now include LinkedIn ad campaigns in account template workflows.
LinkedIn campaign structures preserve the full hierarchy:
- Campaign Group
- Campaign
- Ad
This asset is available when creating a template and when choosing which assets to apply to another account.
How It Works
When creating a template, you can expand the LinkedIn ad campaigns section under marketing assets and select individual campaigns or choose all available campaigns. The selected and total counts are shown during selection.
When applying a template to another account, you can select LinkedIn ad campaigns as part of the asset selection step.
The system uses the same conflict detection and overwrite behavior already used for other ad campaign asset types.
Important Notes
- If LinkedIn is not connected in the destination account, imported campaigns are still created as draft campaigns.
- Imported campaigns are always created in draft state.
- Lead Gen Forms are not included.
- Reporting data, billing history, and ad account credentials are not transferred.
Why It Matters
This update makes it easier for agencies to reuse LinkedIn campaign setups across client accounts while keeping campaign structure intact. It also reduces manual setup work for repeatable LinkedIn advertising workflows.
Record IDs Are Easier to Find in Lists and Record Details
Released February 25, 2026
SMBcrm has improved Record ID visibility for Custom Objects, Companies, and Tasks. You can now add Record ID as a list column and view it in the record detail footer.
This update helps users quickly reference record identifiers for troubleshooting, integrations, and automation testing inside CRM & Sales.
What’s Changed
- List view: You can now add Record ID as a column from Manage Fields.
- Record details: Record ID now appears in the footer of the record detail panel.
- The list column is off by default, so your view stays unchanged unless you enable it.
How to Use It
- Open a list view and click Manage Fields.
- Enable Record ID to show it as a column.
- Open any record and scroll to the footer of the detail panel to view or copy the Record ID.
Why It Matters
- Faster debugging for automations and integrations
- Easier copying and referencing for API workflows
- Less time spent looking for identifiers during support or QA
Schema Markup Generator in Website and Funnel Builder
Released February 25, 2026
SMBcrm now includes a built-in Schema Markup Generator in the Website and Funnel Builder. It lets you create, validate, and publish structured data on a page without external tools or manual code injection.
This release also renames the SEO Meta Data section to SEO & AI search optimization.
Why it matters
Schema markup helps search engines and AI systems understand what a page is about. This can support visibility in rich results, AI overviews, and citation-focused experiences.
Instead of relying on outside validators or manual code edits, you can now manage schema directly inside SMBcrm while working on your website or funnel pages. This fits naturally alongside your broader Reputation & Growth tools.
What the Schema Markup Generator includes
- More than 140 schema types
- A no-code Form View for guided setup
- A JSON View for direct JSON-LD editing
- Built-in validation against Schema.org and Google rich results guidelines on save
- One-click save and publish workflow
- Support for multiple schema types on a single page
Where to find it
To use the feature:
- Go to Agency Settings and enable Schema Markup Generator in Labs for selected accounts or all accounts.
- Open the Website/Funnel Builder.
- Edit a page and open SEO & AI search optimization in the left panel.
- Select Schema Markup and click Add Schema.
How it works
- Choose a schema type such as LocalBusiness, FAQPage, or Product.
- Complete the fields in Form View, or switch to JSON View to paste or write JSON-LD directly.
- Click Validate & Save. If validation fails, errors are shown inline.
- Publish the page to make the schema live.
Supported schema types
Supported options include:
- Organization
- Website
- BreadcrumbList
- Article and BlogPosting
- FAQPage
- QAPage
- HowTo
- VideoObject
- Person
- Product
- LocalBusiness
- Event
This also includes child types under those categories.
Good to know
- Schema is page-specific and does not carry over to other pages or funnel steps.
- Schema appears in preview after saving, but it only goes live when the page is published.
- Schema is not auto-generated when creating a new page with AI. You need to add it manually after the content is ready.
Advanced Builder Now Auto-Connects Workflow Steps
Released February 27, 2026
You can now drag and drop triggers and actions directly onto the workflow canvas in the Advanced Builder. When you place a step at the end of a branch or between existing steps, it connects automatically.
This update makes it faster to build visual automations in Automation before configuring each step.
How it works
From the Triggers and Actions sidebar, drag a trigger or action onto the canvas.
- Drop it on the last node to extend a branch
- Drop it between two nodes to insert it into the middle of a workflow
- The step connects automatically in the correct position
- After placement, you can configure and save it
How to use it
- Open the Triggers and Actions sidebar in the Workflow Builder.
- Drag the trigger or action you want onto the canvas.
- Drop it where it belongs.
- Configure the step and save it.
What to keep in mind
- Actions can be dropped at the end of a branch or between two existing nodes
- Dropped actions must be configured before they can run
- Workflows will not execute incomplete or unconfigured actions
Update Stripe ACH Settings for Nacha Compliance
Released February 27, 2026
If you accept ACH payments through Stripe in SMBcrm, review your Stripe account settings to make sure they meet updated Nacha requirements.
This applies to businesses that accept ACH Direct Debit, or plan to accept US bank account payments, through Stripe connected to SMBcrm. The change is effective March 20, 2026.
You can learn more about SMBcrm’s Payments & Commerce tools, but these required changes must be made in your Stripe account.
Who needs to take action
You should review this if:
- You have a Stripe account connected to SMBcrm and accept ACH Direct Debit
- You have a Stripe account connected to SMBcrm and plan to accept US bank account payments
- You manage client accounts with connected Stripe accounts that accept ACH Direct Debit or US bank account payments
What you need to update in Stripe
Stripe now requires you to choose how ACH transactions should be classified.
The available options are:
-
Automatically classify transactions Stripe determines whether each transaction represents a purchase of goods based on available transaction and merchant details. According to the source update, this works for most businesses and does not require code changes.
-
Classify all ACH transactions as goods Use this if you only sell physical or digital products.
-
Do not classify any transactions as goods Use this if you provide services, accept donations, or collect bill payments instead of selling goods.
How to configure transaction classification
- Open your Stripe Dashboard.
- Go to Settings and then Payment.
- Find the Nacha compliance section.
- Choose one of the three transaction classification options.
- Save your changes.
Important to know
SMBcrm does not make these updates for you. These settings are controlled in your Stripe account, so you must complete the update directly in Stripe.
If you are unsure which option to choose, contact Stripe support for guidance.
Workflow Version History Now Restores in the Correct Builder
Released February 27, 2026
SMBcrm has improved Workflow Version History so you can restore versions created in either builder without manually switching first. When you restore a saved version, the system opens the builder where that version was originally created.
This update helps preserve workflow structure and makes it easier to work confidently across different workflow-building experiences in Automation.
What Changed
Each saved workflow version now keeps track of which builder was used when it was created.
When you choose Restore, SMBcrm:
- identifies the builder used for that version
- switches to the correct builder automatically
- loads that exact version as originally built
Why It Matters
Previously, users working across both builders could run into friction when previewing or restoring older workflow versions. This improvement keeps the original context intact so versions restore as expected.
How to Use It
- Open a workflow and go to Version History.
- Select the version you want to view or restore.
- Click Restore.
- SMBcrm automatically opens the correct builder for that version.
Example
If you created a workflow in the Standard Builder, then later updated it in the Advanced Builder, you can now restore the earlier version and SMBcrm will switch back to the Standard Builder automatically.
Additional Notes
- This applies to workflows with saved versions across both builders.
- A restored version always opens in the builder where it was originally created.
- No manual builder switching is required during restore.
