AI Builder now does more than create workflow triggers and actions. It finds the existing account records you name in your prompt and uses them to configure steps in your SMBcrm workflows.
Previously, you needed to open each generated step to select records such as forms, pipelines, stages, and snippets. AI Builder now fills in those values as it builds, reducing manual setup.
What AI Builder Can Configure
Name the records you want to use, and AI Builder can configure steps such as:
- Form Submitted: Selects the exact form you named.
- Create Opportunity: Sets the pipeline and stage from your account.
- Send Email: Uses the subject and body from your existing email snippet and links it to the action.
- Add Tag: Uses an existing tag rather than creating another one.
- Create Task: Assigns the task to the user you named.
- Add to Workflow: Selects the workflow you named.
- Update Contact Field: Selects the custom field you named.
The build progress shows records as they are found, with messages such as “Found form,” “Found pipeline,” and “Found email template.”
Supported records span workflows, CRM data, opportunities, calendars, forms, content, products, memberships, custom fields and objects, templates, and connected social pages and forms.
How to Use It
- Go to Automation > Workflows.
- Create a workflow or open an existing one, then open AI Builder.
- Write your prompt using record names exactly as they appear in your account. For example, specify “Pipeline: Marketing, Stage: New Lead” or “use the existing snippet Welcome Email.”
- Send the prompt and watch the progress view as AI Builder finds each record.
- Open each step and review the selected values.
- Test the workflow, then publish.
Review Before Publishing
This update to SMBcrm AI features reduces manual configuration, but you should still review every step. If AI Builder selects the wrong record, ask it to make a change or select the correct record yourself.
AI Builder can only use records that already exist in your account. Some settings, such as credentials, still require your input and appear in the Post-Generation To-Do List.
