The SMBcrm Mobile app now includes a New Ask AI Chat shortcut on the app icon, in the Quick Actions card, and in universal search. It opens a blank conversation so you can ask a question without navigating through your previous chat.
What Changed
- Start with a blank chat: Each use of the shortcut opens a fresh conversation rather than returning to an old thread.
- Avoid duplicate screens: If Ask AI is already open, the shortcut switches to a new chat without stacking another screen.
- See relevant shortcuts: The shortcut appears only for users and accounts that have Ask AI.
This gives you a shorter path to Ask AI and SMBcrm’s AI features when you need help wording a follow-up or checking what’s due today.
How to Use It
- Long-press the app icon on your phone’s home screen.
- Tap New Ask AI Chat.
- Type your question in the blank conversation.
You can also select the shortcut from the Quick Actions card or find it through universal search.
Availability
The shortcut is a public release dated October 2026 and is available in app version v4.27.0 and later for users and accounts with Ask AI.
