Badges can now be part of SMBcrm workflows, so recognition and follow-up steps can happen automatically when workflow conditions are met.
What changed
Badge automation adds two workflow options:
- Issue Badge action: Issue a selected badge automatically when workflow conditions are met.
- Badge Issued trigger: Start a workflow when a badge is issued.
With these options, teams can connect badge activity to follow-up actions such as sending a message or email, updating a contact, or starting another automation.
Why it matters
This update helps teams include achievements and milestones in their existing automation processes. It can also support engagement flows in memberships and education where badges are part of the learner or member experience.
