Live Sessions in Courses
SMBcrm now supports live sessions directly inside courses, making it easier to schedule, host, and reuse live learning from one place. Course creators can run one-time sessions or recurring series inside the course experience.
For businesses using Memberships & Education, this brings live delivery and course content closer together in a single workflow.
What Changed
Flexible scheduling
Creators can schedule one-time live sessions or recurring series directly within a course. Recurring sessions support daily, weekly, and custom patterns, with timezone-aware scheduling for participants.
Built into the course experience
Live sessions now appear in the course outline in a dedicated section. Each session is shown as a card with preview details so creators and learners can quickly review upcoming sessions.

More control over session management
Creators can edit or cancel sessions at any time. For recurring sessions, changes can be made to one occurrence or applied to all upcoming sessions.

Go-live timing and notifications
The Go Live button becomes available 15 minutes before a session starts. Admins receive reminder emails, and creators can manage learner notifications for reminders, updates, and go-live alerts.

Recordings for future use
After a session ends, creators can access the recording, download it, and add it back into the course as a lesson for future viewing.

Why It Matters
Live sessions bring scheduling, hosting, notifications, learner access, and recordings into a single course workflow. That can reduce manual coordination for creators while giving learners a more organized live learning experience.
