The new Ask AI home screen widget gives you shortcuts to start a fresh chat in the SMBcrm Mobile app without navigating through the app first. It provides faster access to Ask AI features when you want to type a question, speak, or ask about something in front of you.
Three Ways to Start a Chat
- Chat bar: Opens a new chat with the keyboard ready.
- Voice: Opens a new chat in hands-free voice mode.
- Camera: Opens your camera, attaches the photo to a new chat, and waits for your question.
The widget follows your app’s language and brand colors in light and dark mode. If you tap it while signed out, the action resumes after you sign in.
Setup and Availability
The release is listed for October 2026 and requires app version 4.27.0 or later. It supports iOS 16.6 and later and Android, for accounts with Ask AI enabled.
The widget is off by default. It must be enabled per company using the Ask AI Home Widget switch in the service dashboard.
Once enabled:
- Long-press an empty area of your phone’s home screen.
- Tap + on iOS or Widgets on Android.
- Search for the SMBcrm Mobile app and add the Ask AI widget.
- Tap the chat bar, Voice, or Camera to start a fresh chat.
