Ask AI in the SMBcrm Mobile app now supports three iOS shortcuts: New Chat, Dictation, and Voice Mode. Assign one to your iPhone’s Action button, launch it with Siri, or find it in Spotlight to reach Ask AI with fewer steps.
What the shortcuts do
Each shortcut opens the app, even if it was closed, and starts a fresh chat. Dictation and Voice Mode also activate the microphone, subject to consent and access checks.
- New Chat: Start a separate conversation without mixing in an earlier topic.
- Dictation: Capture spoken input without navigating to the microphone manually.
- Voice Mode: Start a voice conversation with Ask AI.
If a voice or dictation session is already running, the shortcut does not interrupt it. These shortcuts make SMBcrm’s AI features easier to access while you’re on the move.
Set up the Action button
- Open Settings → Action Button on your iPhone and swipe to Shortcut.
- Tap Choose a Shortcut, find the SMBcrm Mobile app, and select New Chat, Dictation, or Voice Mode.
- Press and hold the Action button to launch your selected shortcut.
You can also use Siri or Spotlight without an Action button.

- Release: October 2026.
- App version: 4.27.0 or later.
- Platform: iOS only.
- Action button: Requires iPhone 15 Pro or later.
- Siri and Spotlight: Require iOS 16.6 or later.
- Account access: Public release for accounts with Ask AI enabled.
