Audit Logs Add Preference Management Activity
SMBcrm Audit Logs now provide more visibility into preference and subscription management activity. This helps teams review changes to contact preferences and subscription types with clearer details for reporting and accountability.
What Changed
Audit Logs now track contact preference updates made by logged-in users, including:
- Which contact’s preferences were updated
- Who made the change
- When the change was made
- The previous and updated preference values
Audit Logs also track subscription type updates made in the Preference Management Hub, including:
- Which subscription type was modified
- Who made the change
- When the update occurred
- Which settings or details changed
For teams managing contacts in SMBcrm CRM & Sales, this makes it easier to understand preference-related activity without manually piecing together changes.
Why It Matters
These Audit Log improvements can help teams:
- Export audit records for compliance and reporting
- Improve transparency and accountability across the team
- Identify what changed, who made the change, and when it happened
How to Access It
Go to Settings → Audit Logs to review detailed records for preference and subscription management changes. Each record includes information such as the user, affected record, timestamp, and change details.
Planned Improvement
A dedicated History tab for Contact Preferences is planned. The source notes that it will provide a timeline of preference changes, sources, legal basis, and update details.
In Case You Missed It
You may also want to review Upload and Download Folders in Media Center.
