Following a carrier migration, SMS is no longer supported on Mexico local phone numbers. In Settings > Phone Numbers > Manage Numbers > Phone Numbers, affected numbers display an SMS not supported status pill with a tooltip for more context. The indicator appears automatically on both existing and newly purchased Mexico local numbers; no setup is required.
Voice and WhatsApp, where applicable, continue to work as before. The phone number purchase process is unchanged, so check a number’s listed capabilities before purchasing it for SMS use.
The Phone Numbers table also wraps status pills within their column when a number has more than two, keeping the table layout intact. Learn more about SMBcrm communication features.
