Product Image Lightbox Adds Keyboard Shortcuts
SMBcrm now supports keyboard shortcuts for product images when Open Lightbox zoom is enabled on a Product Details Page.
When a product image is opened in the lightbox, users can:
- Press Escape to close the lightbox.
- Use Right Arrow to move to the next image.
- Use Left Arrow to move to the previous image.
- Continue navigating from the last image back to the first, and from the first image back to the last.
The lightbox now auto-focuses when opened, so keyboard shortcuts work immediately without an extra click. Arrow keys also no longer scroll the page behind the popup while the lightbox is open.
How to Use It
- Open a Product Details Page with Open Lightbox zoom enabled.
- Click a product image to open the lightbox.
- Use Escape, Left Arrow, or Right Arrow to control the lightbox.
Key Details
- The thumbnail strip auto-scrolls to keep the active thumbnail visible.
- Existing mouse interactions remain unchanged, including arrow clicks, thumbnail selection, close, zoom, and grid toggle.
- Keyboard shortcut support is available in both Page Builder and Builder Preview.
