Agent Studio now offers two ways to build custom AI agents: the visual Flow Agents builder and the new prompt-based Super Agents, currently in beta. You’ll find them under AI Agents → Agent Studio → Super Agents.
Super Agents are prompt-based agents. You give an agent a prompt, knowledge, and permissions, and it runs in chat or on the triggers you set. There’s no step-by-step workflow to draw.
How You Build One
Start by describing what you want the agent to do in plain English, or pick one of four starter use cases: Knowledge Base Assistant, Community Moderator, Email Campaign, or Social Media Posting.
A few example prompts from the create screen:
- Follow up with leads who haven’t replied in 3 days
- Tag new contacts as VIP when their deal value is over $10k
- Handle inbound chat questions using my knowledge base and hand off complex ones to a human
From there, the builder walks you through the agent’s name, triggers, skills, capabilities, knowledge base, and instructions before you publish.
Guardrails You Control
You set the limits, and you can see all of them:
- Skills: 420+ selectable CRM skills across categories like contacts, conversations, calendars, invoices, and emails, each one on or off per agent
- Knowledge: attach a knowledge base so answers come from content you’ve approved
- Triggers: agents run when you say, whether that’s a chat message, a form submission, or a lead tag being added or removed
- Capabilities: web search and image generation are per-agent toggles
- Publishing: agents must be published before they can be tested or run live, so nothing operates until you deliberately turn it on
- Handoff: write human handoff into the instructions so complex conversations go to your team
Availability
Super Agents is in beta, and capabilities may evolve as it develops. It lives in Agent Studio, which is available on every plan and billed pay-per-use at model token rates. There’s no tier to unlock. (The separate AI Employee add-on, Growth $97/mo or Unlimited $147/mo, covers your other AI usage like Conversation AI and Voice AI.)
