Transfer Calls From SMBcrm Mobile to Staff Devices
Users can now transfer calls from the SMBcrm Mobile app to staff members even when those staff members do not have a personal phone number configured.
How call transfers work
During an active inbound or outbound call in the SMBcrm Mobile app, tap the transfer call icon, then open the Staff Members tab. Select the staff member who should receive the call. Available device types are shown next to each staff member.
You can choose either:
- Call and Hold for a warm transfer
- Transfer and End for a blind transfer
The receiving staff member can see that the call was transferred and who transferred it. On iOS, the incoming call banner shows the contact name followed by “via” and the transferring staff member’s name, such as “John Doe via Michael Scott.” On Android, the incoming call screen shows that it is a transferred call from the transferring staff member.
Key details
- Works for both warm and blind transfers.
- Works for both outbound and inbound calls.

- Staff members with no configured device appear as disabled in the transfer list.
