Upload Images to Media Storage From a URL
SMBcrm now lets you add images to Media Storage using a public image URL. You no longer need to download an image to your device before uploading it.
What Changed
With Upload from URL, you can import images directly from any publicly accessible image link.
Before importing, SMBcrm shows a thumbnail preview so you can verify the image. It also retrieves the file name and image dimensions from the source URL.
Built-in validation gives immediate feedback for invalid links, unsupported file formats, or oversized images. You will also be prompted to confirm that you have permission to use the image before importing it.
Imported images are saved to your current Media Storage folder and work like standard uploads.

How It Works
- Open Media Storage.
- Click Upload and select Upload from URL.
- Paste a public image URL and submit it.
- Review the image preview and file details.
- Click Import.
- Confirm copyright ownership or usage rights when prompted.
- The image is added to your current Media Storage folder.
This helps you bring in assets from CDNs, shared image links, stock photo libraries, and other public sources without extra download and upload steps.
