Voice Notes for Community Posts and Comments
Community members can now record and send voice notes directly in posts and comments inside SMBcrm Memberships & Education. This gives members a faster way to share updates, give feedback, or reply without typing long responses.
What changed
Record voice notes
A mic button in the post and comment composer lets members record voice notes without leaving the editor. Members can record, pause, resume, or cancel before sending.
Upload audio files
Members can upload audio files alongside images, videos, and other attachments. Multiple audio files can be attached to a single post.
Play audio inline
Voice notes and uploaded audio files play directly in the feed for both posts and comments. Recorded notes display a waveform view, while uploaded audio shows a timeline view.
Playback speed can be toggled between 1x, 1.5x, and 2x, and audio can autoplay to the next track for continuous listening.
Availability notes
- Voice notes are supported in both posts and comments.
- Supported playback speeds are 1x, 1.5x, and 2x.
- Multiple audio attachments can be added to a single post.
- This update is currently available on web.
- SMBcrm Mobile app support is coming soon.
