WhatsApp Composer and Settings Load More Reliably
We improved two frequently used WhatsApp areas in SMBcrm: the conversation composer and WhatsApp Settings. These updates help connected accounts show the correct send options on first load and make the Settings page open more reliably.
What changed
Composer connection state now resolves before rendering
After the 24-hour messaging window closed, the composer sometimes showed a false “Connect WhatsApp” prompt even when the account was already connected. This could block template sends.
The composer and calling CTA now wait for the connection status to resolve before displaying options, so connected accounts see the template send path instead of a reconnect prompt.
WhatsApp Settings opens without repeated refreshes
The Settings > WhatsApp tab could previously stay blank or stuck in a loading state until the page was refreshed several times. It now renders on first open.
The WhatsApp Settings surface also loads faster. Lighthouse results improved from:
- Speed Index: 13.2s to 4.3s
- First Contentful Paint: 3.8s to 1.0s
Why it matters
WhatsApp is a core messaging channel inside SMBcrm’s communication tools. A false reconnect prompt can make a working account look broken and prevent agents from sending templates after the 24-hour messaging window closes.
Reliable Settings access also helps reduce friction during onboarding and everyday configuration. These fixes make both areas load in the correct state the first time.
