Run Automations in Bulk for Companies and Custom Objects

SMBcrm now lets users trigger workflows for selected company and custom object records from list views, then monitor results in Bulk Actions.

SMBcrm now lets users trigger workflows for multiple Company or Custom Object records directly from the list view.

What changed

From a Companies or Custom Object list view, you can select multiple records and run a chosen automation without updating each record individually. After confirming the action, results can be monitored in Bulk Actions, including record-level results.

Why it matters

This helps when an automation needs to run for records that already exist instead of waiting for a future workflow trigger. Example uses include:

  • Running onboarding or follow-up workflows for Companies
  • Triggering renewal automation for Policies or Subscriptions
  • Processing imported Custom Object records
  • Running one-time operational workflows on selected records

How to use it

  1. Open Companies or a Custom Object.
  2. Select the records you want to process.
  3. Click Trigger Automation.
  4. Select the workflow.
  5. Confirm the action.

Monitor progress and review results from Bulk Actions.
