Dashboard and Report Filters Now Persist by User
SMBcrm dashboards and custom reports now remember selected date ranges and filters by user. This helps reduce repeat setup when you return to a report and keeps shared report emails tied to the values used at send time.
What changed
Dashboards
- Selected dashboard date ranges now save automatically for each user.
- Dashboard widget dropdown selections now persist based on the user’s last selection.
- Saved selections stay in place until they are changed manually.
- AI Summary now reflects the selected pipeline instead of defaulting to the first pipeline option.
- If a saved filter such as a pipeline is deleted, SMBcrm automatically selects the first available option.
- Duplicated dashboards retain relevant date and filter settings.
- Dashboard-level date filters now support a comparison date range that also applies to general widgets.
- If a widget has its own comparison setting, the widget-level comparison takes priority over the dashboard-level setting.
Custom reports
- Custom reports now follow the same filter and date persistence behavior as dashboards.
- Dropdown selections are saved for all users when the report creator clicks Save.
- Email sharing sends a snapshot of the report values at the time the email is generated.
- Later changes to the report do not affect emails that were already sent.
- Custom report builder now supports a comparison date range that also applies to general widgets.
- If a widget has its own comparison setting, the widget-level comparison takes priority over the report-level setting.
Important notes
- Widget-level date settings can still differ from the main dashboard date setting.
- Restoring an account snapshot does not copy user-specific preferences.
Why it matters
This update makes dashboards and reports more consistent from one session to the next. You do not need to keep reapplying the same filters, and emailed reports remain aligned with the values that were selected when they were sent.
