Facebook Post Sync in Social Planner

Social Planner can now automatically sync existing Facebook posts, including recent post history, media, and refreshed insights, so past and scheduled content appear in one place.

What’s new

  • Social Planner can now sync existing Facebook posts automatically.
  • Sync includes posts from the last 30 days and up to the current day (UTC).
  • During the initial sync, older post history may also be pulled in when available.
  • Synced posts include post text, images, and videos.
  • Post insights refresh automatically every 24 hours.
  • Once enabled, syncing runs in the background.

  • Reduces manual work when reviewing or rebuilding content history.
  • Makes it easier to compare historical and scheduled post performance.
  • Improves reporting accuracy for social analytics.
  • Helps speed up onboarding for connected social accounts.

How it works

  1. Go to Marketing → Social Planner → Settings.
  2. Make sure your Facebook account is connected.
  3. Enable Post Sync in Labs.
  4. Sync will begin automatically in the background.
  5. View synced posts in Planner and Statistics.
  6. If the connection expires, reconnect the account to resume syncing.
