If you build courses in SMBcrm, you no longer need to re-upload audio and video files you already have. A new Labs feature lets you import media directly from your existing Media Storage into course lessons, saving time and keeping your files organized in one place.
What’s New
You can now browse your Media Storage library from within the course builder and pull audio or video files directly into any lesson. This means content you have already uploaded, whether it is a podcast episode, a training recording, or a walkthrough video, can be reused across multiple courses without creating duplicates.
How to Enable It
This feature is available in Labs. Here is how to turn it on:
- Navigate to Labs in your SMBcrm account
- Find and activate Courses: Import from Media Storage
- Open a course and select a lesson to edit
- Click the Import via Media Library option
- Select the audio or video file you want to use
- Save and publish the lesson
The media links directly from your Media Storage, so there is no extra copy taking up space.
Why It Matters
- No more duplicate uploads — Reuse files you have already added to Media Storage
- Centralized media management — Keep all your audio and video in one location and reference it across courses
- Faster course creation — Skip the upload step and go straight to building your lessons
