LinkedIn Ad Campaigns Can Now Be Included in Account Templates
Agency users can now include LinkedIn ad campaign structures in account templates and apply them across accounts. This helps teams reuse campaign setups without rebuilding campaign groups, campaigns, and ads manually.
What Changed
You can now include LinkedIn ad campaigns in account template workflows.
LinkedIn campaign structures preserve the full hierarchy:
- Campaign Group
- Campaign
- Ad
This asset is available when creating a template and when choosing which assets to apply to another account.
How It Works
When creating a template, you can expand the LinkedIn ad campaigns section under marketing assets and select individual campaigns or choose all available campaigns. The selected and total counts are shown during selection.
When applying a template to another account, you can select LinkedIn ad campaigns as part of the asset selection step.
The system uses the same conflict detection and overwrite behavior already used for other ad campaign asset types.
Important Notes
- If LinkedIn is not connected in the destination account, imported campaigns are still created as draft campaigns.
- Imported campaigns are always created in draft state.
- Lead Gen Forms are not included.
- Reporting data, billing history, and ad account credentials are not transferred.
Why It Matters
This update makes it easier for agencies to reuse LinkedIn campaign setups across client accounts while keeping campaign structure intact. It also reduces manual setup work for repeatable LinkedIn advertising workflows.
