Improved Sync for Missed and Upcoming Appointments
SMBcrm has improved calendar sync reliability so upcoming appointments stay aligned with your connected calendar, even after a disconnection or calendar change.
Previously, appointments created while a calendar integration was disconnected might not sync unless they were manually updated. This update reduces that extra work and helps keep calendars accurate.
What’s Changed
- Appointments created while a calendar was disconnected can now sync automatically after the calendar is reconnected.
- When you connect a new calendar, upcoming appointments are automatically added.
- When you switch to a different calendar within the same integration, future appointments are resynced to the newly selected calendar.
How It Works
Reconnecting a calendar
When you reconnect a previously disconnected calendar, unsynced upcoming appointments are automatically pushed to that calendar.
Connecting a new calendar
When you connect a new calendar integration, future appointments are synced automatically.
Switching calendars
When you change the selected calendar within an existing integration, upcoming appointments are synced to the new calendar.
Why It Matters
- Helps prevent confusion caused by unsynced appointments
- Removes the need to manually edit appointments just to trigger sync
- Keeps your calendar more accurate after connection changes
- Improves reliability for teams that depend on calendar integrations
